Now they’re not overly, burning-tongue spicy. The Sriracha here gives that heat essence in the aftertaste, and it’s really sneaky too! You’ll never know what hit you until the 5th nut or so. And when you combine that with the cinnamon sugar goodness, it’s such a fun blend of sweet and spiciness in every crunch!

Yes yes yes yes yes infinity yes. Candied nuts are one of my favorite treats of the holiday, I think I feel like I’m eating healthy or something. LOVE the sriracha in them! And btw, I’ve been spelling sriracha, sirracha until today. Oh boy.

Yum! I love candied nuts and sriracha, but would have never thought of combining them! Plus, I just got a lifetime supply sized bottle of the stuff (hello Costco!) and I need things to use it with! Thanks for the recipe, pinned!

I’m not usually one for spicy things, but they’re also covered in sugar so I’d probably like them. I love how you used the combination of sweet and spicy for these, though! Definitely cute for a gift. :)

You can use any combination/brand of nuts to your preference. Just be sure to use raw nuts – not roasted and/or salted as that may interfere with the flavor combination of this recipe.

Susan, there seems to be a problem with Imperial Sugar’s website so I have added the recipe above. Please let me know if you have any other questions!

Chung-Ah, what is Sriracha? I have no idea what it is, can you give the brand name of the product or where I can buy ?
