Spinach and Artichoke Dip Pizza
Everyone’s favorite classic dip is turned into a pizza! It’s so cheesy, utterly creamy and melt-in-your-mouth AH-MAZING!
I feel like the classic spinach and artichoke dip is gearing up for world domination.
First, it started as the king of all dips, especially in crockpot form. Then it become the duke of all pastas. And now, it’s the prince of pizzas.
I mean, who needs the dip at this point? Add it to a pizza instead and add another layer of cheese.
Because, guys. It’s pizza. Why wouldn’t you add more cheese?
Spinach and Artichoke Dip Pizza

- 2 cups baby spinach, chopped
- ½ cup sour cream
- ½ cup whipped cream cheese
- 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ¼ teaspoon onion powder
- Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese, divided
- 2 tablespoons freshly grated Parmesan
- ¼ cup yellow cornmeal
- 1 (13.8-ounce) can refrigerated classic pizza crust
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley leaves
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 450 degrees F. Lightly coat a baking sheet or pizza pan with olive oil.
- In a large bowl, combine artichoke hearts, spinach, sour cream, cream cheese, mayonnaise, garlic powder and onion powder; season with salt and pepper, to taste. Stir in 1/4 cup mozzarella cheese and Parmesan; set aside.
- Working on a surface that has been sprinkled with cornmeal, roll out the pizza into a 12-inch-diameter round. Transfer to prepared baking sheet or pizza pan.
- Spread artichoke mixture evenly over the pizza; top with remaining 3/4 cup mozzarella cheese.
- Place into oven and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheeses have melted.
- Serve immediately, garnished with parsley, if desired.

Great pizza! Different than anything I’ve had. Used Trader Joe’s pizza dough, family loved it.
Holy smokes this is good. I added sun dried tomatoes and fresh garlic and basil. Absolute heaven. Thank you!
This is just perfect. Made it on Naan Flatbread pizza. Heaven.
Delicious!
Just made this pizza and it is so good! Will be making again in the future!
Looking at the recipe when do you add the whipping cream.
The whipped cream cheese is added in step #2:
2. In a large bowl, combine artichoke hearts, spinach, sour cream, cream cheese, mayonnaise, garlic powder and onion powder; season with salt and pepper, to taste. Stir in 1/4 cup mozzarella cheese and Parmesan; set aside.
You are an Amazing cook. I love everything you make.❤️
I’m trying this tonight for dinner group pizza night! Can this be made ahead of time and covered in the fridge?
We can’t answer that with certainty, since we haven’t tried doing that ourselves, but you should be able to prep and store. But please use your best judgement!
Love your Recipes ! I made the Artichoke pizza 2.0 version. Hear me out ; You need/want to top with sausage and a course chopped onion then the cheese. This pizza is even more incredible. Keep in touch
I need to make this ASAP!
this looks super super delicious,
thank you for sharing <3
This was absolutely delicious! We added chicken….so good!
This is genius! We love making pizza on naan bread and this is the perfect complement to the naan. It’s like homemade pita and spinach dip! Delish!
OMG. I would never have thought to do this. I love spinach artichoke dip and I also love white pizza so this makes so much sense. I need it for breakfast right now.
Wow, another mouthwatering dish of yours. Cannot wait for my son and hubby to make this pizza. They love making homemade pizza. Thanks for sharing.
Oh my goodness, this looks good! Exactly like my favorite pizza at our local pizzeria. Definitely on my weekend menu. Thanks!
I am blown away by this pizza. I really have to try it. Great combination of flavours too. I am pinning this one for later.
This looks fabulous! I just made a similar pizza with some small artichokes from my garden, along with some bacon and onions. Yum!
Looks absolutely delicious
It’s in the oven. I had to force myself to leave the kitchen. I was drooling on the stove.
That is one incredible looking pizza. Artichoke one pizza is the best (:
The only thing missing is the pizza dough
Sorry for the repetition, I somehow missed all the dough comments because I loaded the page this morning and did not refresh before posting.
This looks really good! What did you use for the pizza dough that gets rolled out in step 3? Did you make one or buy the kind in a tube?
Thank you.
You can use homemade or store-bought pizza dough.
Hi, love your posts! I don’t see the pizza dough listed in the ingredients for this dish. Does it call for a roll of pizza crust dough?
Yes! 🙂
Am I missing something? Where is the pizza part in the artichoke and spinach pizza recipe?
You can use homemade or store-bought pizza dough.
This looks absolutely delish!
You left out the pizza dough recommendation in your ingredient list? You use a 13.8 oz canned pizza dough in another of your recipes. Is this what you used?
Yup! 🙂
Sounds divine, but you left the pizza dough off the ingredients list. Thanks!
You can use homemade or store-bought pizza dough.
Did I miss where the pizza dough comes in?
I didn’t see it in the list of ingredients

Dumb question, but how much pizza dough is needed to make the 12″ pie?
1 (13.8-ounce can) refrigerated classic pizza crust.
Omg, best pizza flavor ever!
O.M.G. I mean it. How the hell am I supposed to pay attention to a diet when I see this!!! lol Gotta go get the stuff and make it tonight! Thanks. I can’t believe I haven’t thought of this. I am apt to put about anything on pizza dough. Thanks!
Don’t worry – we still have months until bikini season! 🙂
You can substitute with healthy ingredients.
Greek yogurt and vegan cream cheese . Use just Parmesan cheese no motzarella .
Also a gluten free pizza crust
