Cranberry Sauce Cheesecake Brownies #ChristmasWeek
Welcome to Christmas Week, a multi-blogger event co-hosted by Kim of Cravings of a Lunatic and Jen of Juanita’s Cocina. Each day we will be celebrating a new holiday baking theme where each blogger makes a dish they love. We hope you enjoy this fabulous event. Tune in each day starting Monday December 3rd and ending Friday December 6th.

Happy Monday to you all! I just got back from a cross-country trip to Mixed where I learned how to decorate cookies courtesy of Marion, played with fondant for the very first time with Duff along with so many other helpful workshops. It was such a blast, but I am also incredibly thrilled to be back home.

So what does a 20-something girl do on a Friday night? Well, if I were still in college, I’d tell you that I’d be at some bar and then come home at the wee-hours of about 5AM. But since my college days are long over, I actually picked up some Thai food on the way home from work, had like 1/4 of it before I got too full (Jason usually eats my leftovers), did a couple of loads of laundry, watched Salt with gorgeous Angelina Jolie (I still resent her for the whole Brad & Jennifer divorce situation but I still think she’s freaking hot) and then I baked the night away.

Having a long-distance relationship is not easy. I may not have it as bad as other couples since Jason and I are only 373 miles apart but in the end, it just downright sucks. It’s tough not being able to see your best friend on a daily basis, and even though we have such advanced technology like Face Time, Jason’s internet is so freaking slow that our conversations are constantly being cut out. But do you know what helps me get through the days? My beautiful closet-sized kitchen.
