It’s official – I’m a Top Chef A-Lister! I’ll be sharing episode recaps, highlight eliminations, recreate some of their dishes and, of course, tell you all about the drama that’s happening between the chefs.

Oh and the best part, I get to share some swag with you too!

But first, let’s talk about last night’s episode.

It began with the quickfire challenge where the chefs could cook anything they wanted to but had to use foil-wrapped ingredients. They couldn’t see the actual ingredients and once they opened the foil, they had to use it. On top of that, the foil was their only cooking vessel.

I thought this task was near impossible, especially since you’re blindly picking through ingredients. But of all the contestants, I thought Kristen did such an amazing job with her almond and chocolate sponge cake. I mean can you imagine making a cake using only aluminum foil the entire time?! I feel like she really pushed the limit here and created an awesome cake. It was definitely a well-deserved win, and I was totally rooting for her.

Then during the elimination challenge, each of the chefs went head to head with one another, which involved some amazing dishes, drama with fighting over a blender, and John constantly disclosing that Stefan used “frozen fish” and then losing his battle thereafter.

But in the end, the winner, without a doubt, was Kristen again with her toasted sage matcha goat milk custard with olive oil soaked berries. It sounds to die for. And I’m sure I could take a swim in that custard.

Now about that swag – Bravo has been so kind to offer one lucky Damn Delicious reader a 12-month subscription to Food & Wine Magazine! Just be sure to enter through the rafflecopter below. Good luck!
