  1. Just wanted to tell you I am a huge fan! I have enjoyed trying several of your recipes and each one has been a big success. After church each Sunday, I host a meal for my family and I often go straight to your site for ideas. I made my first turkey this last Thanksgiving and followed your recipe and it turned out SO great! That was something I was always afraid of trying. My husband said, “Make sure you write this all down so next year we don’t forget this one!” A few of our other favorites are your Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Pancakes (HUGE pumpkin spice fan here!), Apple Cranberry Pecan Salad, Best Ever Beef Stew, Creamy Chicken Noodle Soup, and Butternut Squash Soup in the Instant Pot is on a regular rotation as well – SO DELICIOUS! Thank you! Just wanted you to know how much I love your recipes.:)

  2. You are AMAZING! Hands down and my family and I enjoy your recipes. You can never go wrong with Damn Delicious!
    I have a recipe request:
Copy Cat S’mores Budino from Coopers Hawk.
I hope this message finds you and your staff doing well. Thank you for leaving us with happy full bellies.
    Thank you,
    Lisa Smith

  3. Always loved this website! So happy to get back to it to improve my meal planning!

  4. Is there Gluten Free options

    • Hey Shannon,
I do gf (celiac) I find that most of the recipes are naturally gf bc the use of fresh ingredients or can easily be converted.
      Happy Eating,
      Lisa

  5. I bought the meal prep cookbook.  The tikka masala chicken recipe:  it leaves out the step of “setting aside the chicken” after it cooks.  It prompts to add other ingredients and simmer with the chicken for 10 min.  It’s correct on your website.  Incorrect in the cookbook.

  6. I have your first cookbook and find it delightful. I also print out recipes from your emails and share them with others. Keep up the excellent work!

  7. Where do I purchase the glass jars used for the lasagna recipe?

  8. All the meals I’ve tried so far are damn delicious!
Most recipes are for 4 servings. Are the nutrition facts listed with each recipe for one serving or all four?

  9. I would really like this book.

  10. My New Years resolution is to meal prep.

  11. I can’t afford to buy the book but I want to make healthy affordable meals for my children

    • Hi Susan! I didn’t have room for a book purchase in my budget this month either, but I KNEW I was interested in checking out this book so I checked my local library. Sure enough, many of the libraries in my area had the book available for rent! I reserved a copy and am so excited to check it out and start meal prepping!

  12. I love everything, specially the pasta. Looks very delicious!

  13. Thank you so much

  14. I’m so happy I was able to purchase your book. Thank you!

  15. I’m so happy I was able to purchase your book. Thank you!

  16. If I need more servings how do I get a new quantity of Ingredients? Like if the recipe is 4 servings and I need 5 or 6 servings.

  17. I love love this book! Everything taste so damn delicious and healthy!! Wish she would come out with another healthy meal prep book

  18. The middle top dish and top right dish on the cover, what are the recipes? I can’t find them in the book. I must be overlooking them.

    Thanks!

  19. I’m already a fan of Chungah’s recipes, they are flavorful, easy to make and ‘normal’ enough for my young kids to eat. This cookbook has more of an emphasis on healthy eating than her last cookbook. Most recipes are set up to make 4 servings that you divide into containers for the week. They will keep in the fridge for 3 days (a few will last slightly longer). There is also a chapter on freezer meals (which is mostly soups). The recipes are largely American, Asian and Mexican inspired, similar to her website and previous cookbook. I just received it but am so eager to try ALL of the recipes!
The recipes chapters are: Breakfast; Smoothies, Cold Lunch, Warm Lunch, Snacks, Freezer Meals, Dinner.

  20. Dear Chungah & the Damn Delicious Team,

Your blog has been at the top of my favorites list for several years already. When you started featuring Meal Prep recipes, I bought 2 big packs of the black plastic rectangle containers from Amazon. I’ve made nearly every meal prep recipe you’ve featured on the blog. (Greek chicken is the one I repeat the most!)

I wanted to say thank you for making the effort to write this book. The photography is beautiful, and I appreciate that there is a photo of every Damn Delicious recipe! I’m on my own now, after 30 years of cooking for a family. Your book is helping me satisfy both my love of cooking and my frugal nature. I’m paying attention to which produce is in season and finding one of your recipes to use it up. I like to make one freezer meal, one fresh, and one breakfast or snack each week.

    Thanks again,
    Kathleen

  21. I actually came across this book by accident and LOVE IT!!! I was looking for a meal prep book so I could learn the basics and different recipes. I am used to all the comfort foods and not as much healthy foods. These came across as comfort and healthy. My portions may be smaller as I have had the gastric sleeve but I didn’t see one recipe not worth trying. Very excited to get started. Thank you so much for your time and efforts put into this book

  22. I absolutely can’t wait to get started with this cookbook and meal prepping..

  23. I just recently bought your book off Amazon. I am planning on using it religiously once I buy my food prep necessities. I’ve been going through the book trying to figure out what type of jars/containers you use. Could you provide a list of the kind of meal prep containers you used throughout your book? So far these are the ones I have figured out below:

    – Lunchbots, Wide-Mouth Mason Jars 16 oz & 32 oz, Weck jars (but I am not sure what size?). I know there were plastic containers as well but I wasn’t sure which brand. You also wrote in the beginning about meal prep and purchasing glass containers, which brand do you feel has worked the best?

I am looking forward to your response
    Thank you.

    • Hayley, I’m so glad you purchased my book! 🙂

So all the meal prep containers for the book were purchased via Amazon. They have a wide variety of glass and plastic containers available. In all honesty, I do not have a preferred brand or container over another – although some are certainly prettier than others like the Weck Jars. I should also mention that some jars for the book were used primarily for aesthetic reasons while others were used for practical reasons. It is best to find what works best for you and your needs as well as your budget.

      Hope that helps!

  24. This is very practical and yummy!

  25. Hi Chungah,

I am ordering this cookbook right now!  I checked it out from my local library and just finished reading through it.  I wanted to make sure I would use it and I absolutely will.   Too often I’ve ordered a cookbook online and have been disappointed.  There are sooo many awesome recipes to choose from.  I know there are tons of meal prep recipes online, but I’ll be sticking with this cookbook for the foreseeable future.

I ordered some meal prep containers, I’m ordering the cookbook, and I can hardly wait to get started!

    Thanks for the inspiration.

  26. I started pinning your recipes about four years ago. They helped me to stay on track of healthy eating while not compromising taste. I lost over 100 lbs! That’s right. So many of your recipes helped me get there. Even my four young adult kids, all very healthy eaters and very fit started using your recipes. I’m so excited for this cookbook. I’ve gained a few lbs back and I know meal prep is the way to go. I’m so excited!!!

  27. Love the book, it came today from Amazon, just a heads up that the cover was on upside down and backwards, was that intentional? I can’t wait to read it the pictures are truly lovely.

    • Oh no! It was definitely not intentional. Amazon has a great return policy and they should be able to send a correct replacement ASAP. Sorry about that!

      • No need for you to apologize, I am about halfway through reading the cookbook and it’s fabulous. I am getting ready to start a weight loss adventure and this will really help me work through meal planning and watching my calories while still eating really good food. You have very creative ideas that are easy and fun and your food always taste amazing. Huge fan or your Korean Beef, it’s a staple at my house and I almost always have some stocked away in the freezer 🙂

  28. So simple, so easy and so tasty. A treasure for the not so professional epucurian. I hate cooking, but who else will put the food on the table. Makes it a lot easier with yr simple recipes.

  29. Excited about the new book. Looks like maybe there will be some whole food vegan type recipes?? I’ve followed you for about 5 years and now have gone WFPB eating. Would love to see what you can do.
    Love your ideas Chungah.

  30. This looks fantastic! My Husband & I love your recipes & cooking style. In fact if I’m not sure what to make, or if I ask him if he has any special meal requests, he’ll ask me if I’ve checked your website recently. Kudos to you on your hard work!

  31. We love your ideas and quick ways of cooking great meals , keep up great work cheers
