Being the carb-obsessed girl that I am, I desperately need my toast in the morning. It can honestly be any kind of bread – white, whole wheat, sourdough, etc. I just need a toaster, a bit of butter and some jam and I can start the day. I’m not a coffee drinker so let’s just say that toast is my pick-me-up to get me started in the morning before I head off to work.
The problem was, I actually didn’t have a toaster! I had a really nice one passed down from my mom but it was impossible to keep it clean so I tossed it. Since then, I’ve actually been using the broil function on my oven, except I’d forget about it and my toast would burn to complete blackness.
Absolute fail.
So when Magimix sent me their Vision Toaster for review, I was through the roof. I mean, life without burnt toast EVER AGAIN?! Yeah, that’s a dream come true for me, especially with that awesome viewing window to watch the entire toasting process in action. And with the four settings – Toast, Bagel, Reheat and Defrost – along with a browning setting, you can have the perfectly crisp, uniformly browned toast every. single. morning.
My absolute favorite part about this toaster is how you can actually keep it clean and maintain it. There’s an accessible crumb tray and you could even take out the glasses! That’s a major bonus for me because I take such good care of my kitchen appliances and having them look spic and span is a must for me. Oh and that fiery red color – yeah, that definitely brightens up my kitchen, especially with that sleek design. I get more compliments on that toaster than anything else in my house!
Now with Mother’s Day right around the corner, I highly suggest this toaster for your mom. It’s seriously the best gift you could give her. If not, you could always get it for yourself. Perfectly toasted bread is life changing.
