Watermelon Slush
You won’t believe that this comes together in just 5 minutes with only 3 ingredients. How easy is that?!
With Memorial Day coming up tomorrow, you know you can’t have a Memorial Day party without a refreshing pitcher of watermelon slush. Plus, this recipe comes together with just 3 ingredients, a blender and 5 minutes. That’s it!
Really, though, this comes together in literally 5 minutes. All you need to do is slice up your watermelon, throw it in a blender with some ice and sugar, and press start. Easy peasy.
You can even add a little bit of freshly squeezed lime juice for a bit of tanginess but I kept mine nice and simple with a little bit of vodka. Hey, a little bit of vodka is always necessary, right?

Watermelon Slush
Ingredients
- 5 cups diced seedless watermelon
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- Juice of 1 lime, optional
Instructions
- Combine watermelon, sugar, lime juice and 1 cup ice in blender until smooth.
- Serve immediately.

Watermelon slush and pineapple/Watermelon so good and very refreshing
Delicious! So refreshing!! Adding lime was such a nice touch!Â
Turned out more like watermelon juice, but still really tasty. Super refreshing and perfect for sunny days!Â
Maybe add more ice to make it slushy.
It was really good. Really refreshing
I love to use fresh mint with watermelon… also watermelon freezes well and then there is no need for ice!! Â My favorite mo tail!
I left the sugar out and it was delicious and refreshing!
Beautiful!
Holy s**t amazing best drink everÂ
Where did you get the glasses you served it in?
I purchased these from a discount store many many years ago! 🙂
add coconut rum.
Used coconut rum in these at a BBQ today and it was perfect! It compliments the watermelon very nicely. Decided I will throw in some mint or basil next time.Â
I absolutely love this recipe. If you want to cut out the added sugar, just add some strawberries for an extra kick of sweet
Even better with a little simple syrup, lemon juice, a bunch of mint and a splash of Amaretto.
This is the basic recipe I use for watermelon (or cantaloupe) juice. Half water, half cut up melon and some sugar (to your taste, I love agave) and blend it up then sit in a mesh strainer. You’ll get some pulp in there but trust me it is delicious.
Love your site.

I wonder…could you add orange juice and club soda?
I’ve never tried it myself but that sounds amazing!
Can this be froze ???????going camping and would love to have this put with no elerctirc i would have to make ahead!
I do not recommend freezing as this tends to separate quite quickly. It is best to serve this immediately.
Thank you i kinda thought that might happen!

I like how you snuck in the vodka part. This all sound delicious. I have a watermelon in the ktchen now!…..and vodka.
this easy and delicious , i love watermelon <3
can you do this with cantelope
Unfortunately, I cannot answer this with certainty as I have never tried it myself. I worry that it may not be as “slushy” as the use of watermelon.
Yes!Â
The added sugar should really not be needed!
You can certainly omit the sugar to taste. I included the sugar in this recipe to give the option to add a little bit in case the watermelon is not too sweet/ripe.
I’m soooo into watermelon and love all summer fruits! If you strain the blended mixture you’ll have what they call agua fresca and it’s absolutely light & refreshing! I add shots of vodka to mine too!
I made this with honeydew and it was wonderful! Thank you!!
This looks so refreshing! I can see myself drinking a lot of these this summer.
That looks so refreshing! Perfect for a hot summer day…
I seriously need some more creative recipes for watermelon other than just eating it.
‘Cause, well, that isn’t a recipe.
So, I am ALL over this – perfect for the Florida heat! Pinned! 🙂
Okay, this needs to be in my hand, STAT. What a great recipe!!

Have a great Memorial Day weekend!
I need a tall one of these by the pool today, love!
I’ve made this with tequila also! YUMMY
Watermelon is definitely a warm weather fave – so refreshing! I made something similar last week and froze half the batch for popsicles. Yum!
Remember when I was going to do that raspberry recipe and then you told me you were doing one, and then I turned it into a slushie recipe, and now you have one…girl we couldn’t have planned this if we tried 🙂 Same wavelength. Except you forgot to add booze to yours 🙂 Seriously though gorgeous images and I bet so so refreshing!
Or even some tequila? This looks lovely!
I’m so crazy about watermelon right now and this looks like pure perfection!
