Garlic Ranch Potatoes
The best and easiest way to roast potatoes with garlic and ranch. After this, you’ll never want to roast potatoes any other way!
Garlic and ranch. My two new best friends.
I could seriously throw these two seasonings on anything and everything, but my all-time favorite flavor-combination has to be in these super easy, no-fuss roasted potatoes.
You just can’t go wrong with these two flavors – and if you want to take it even further, I’d throw in some crisp bacon bits. You’ll skip over from a side dish to the best meal of your life!

These roasted potatoes are delicious and so easy! They are a family favorite!
Of ranch dressing mix It’s cheaper and you get a lot so you could make a lot of things And it’s really good it’s just like the packets I will these potatoes I also put the ranch dressing mix and mash potatoes and everybody loved them so you could look for it says ranch dressing mix at Sam’s club And the taste is really really good also
I tried these and they were ok, but the oil absorbs the ranch dressing, and made the potatoes stick to the pan. Next time try more oil on the pan, and/or sprinkle the dressing on top.
Instructions are to use one packet (one ounce) of Ranch Salad Dressing & Seasoning Mix; however, my packet is 0.4 oz. — one or four packets?
Hi Betty! You should use enough packets to equal 1.0 ounce. Hope that helps!
I found this recipe last year and made them several times, they are so good! My two daughters love them and have even requested them at times. The recipe is so easy and quick and it’s the perfect addition for a night of grilling out. I’ve used various kinds of potatoes and they’ve never disappointed. I believe I’m going to take that one person’s idea and add bacon bits.
I’m assuming I can just cut some bacon on top of these before baking,or place it in the bag and toss with potatoes and seasoning..before baking going to do this tonight with barB Q spare ribs. Thanks…yummmmm
Can I use garlic powder instead of garlic cloves
Yes.
Hi! Do you think these can be made in the crockpot the same way your Garlic Parmesan Potatoes?
Thanks!
Yes, absolutely.
do u keep these potatoes peeled or unpeeled?
If baby Dutch potatoes are used, they do not have to be peeled. They are actually quite small so peeling them may be close to impossible!
I am so glad I found this recipe I was looking to do something a little different with our roast pork tonight ant these will be perfect!
So, I am still confused. You put the butter in a bowl, add the potatoes and the residual heat melts the butter? Thanks!
Kim, there is no need to put butter in a bowl. The residual heat from the pan should melt the butter – that way, you don’t have to dirty up another bowl!
can u bake these as instructed and the. Place in a crock pot to keep warm until eating? I just don’t want them to be soggy.
Yes, absolutely! But I recommend lining your slow cooker with foil first to avoid any kind of burning.
hello
These potatoes look and sound great!
Do you put the seasoning, oil,and garlic on to the potatoes once they are
On the cookie sheet or before you place them on the pan.
You can toss everything on the baking sheet – there’s no need to dirty up another pan!
I’m going to make it.
Google it…you can find recipes online to make your own seasoning mix. This also avoids all the preservatives and other chemicals
Made these last week for dinner and they were amazing!!! Used homemade ranch seasoning mix (don’t like using the packets) and they turned out awesome!!
These were amazing! I made them with steak roulades for the first dinner I cooked for the guy I’ve been seeing, and he LOVED them. He’s asked for them twice (since I made them two weeks ago.) Thanks!
How many carbs? How many potatoes in a serving My son is a diabetic.
Brenda, please use online resources at your discretion (such as a nutritional calculator) to obtain the number of carbs.
Hi Chungah. They look divine. Would a packet of another kind of dry spice work? I will try and let u know. I live in SA and haven’t seen the ranch mix on our shelves. Thank you. My family love roast potatoes.
Daphne, if SA you mean San Antonio,Tx you can find the packet at H‑E‑B it’s near all the salad dressings.
I tried this recipe very shortly after I tried your slow cooker beef and broccoli and it was sinfully delicious. We made a 1.5 lb. bag worth and devoured every last potato with dinner.
