Garlic Ranch Potatoes
The best and easiest way to roast potatoes with garlic and ranch. After this, you’ll never want to roast potatoes any other way!
Garlic and ranch. My two new best friends.
I could seriously throw these two seasonings on anything and everything, but my all-time favorite flavor-combination has to be in these super easy, no-fuss roasted potatoes.
You just can’t go wrong with these two flavors – and if you want to take it even further, I’d throw in some crisp bacon bits. You’ll skip over from a side dish to the best meal of your life!
Garlic Ranch Potatoes

- 3 pounds baby Dutch potatoes, halved
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 1-ounce package Ranch Seasoning and Salad Dressing Mix
- Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 2 tablespoons chopped parsley leaves, for garnish
Instructions

- Place potatoes in a single layer onto the prepared baking sheet. Add olive oil, garlic and Ranch Seasoning; season with salt and pepper, to taste. Gently toss to combine.
- Place into oven and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown and crisp. Stir in butter until melted, about 1 minute.
- Serve immediately, garnished with parsley, if desired.

I love ranch potatoes! Yours look perfect and awesome photos as always!!
I love all your recipes. I’m always looking for easy, elegant and simple and your recipes are the best . Thank you. However, I have never seen Dutch potatoes in the grocery stores. Where do you buy them? Costco has golden potatoes. Are they the same?
I have never had trouble finding them at my local grocery store. As for golden potatoes, I don’t think they are the same but you can easily substitute red potatoes in this dish if you have trouble finding Dutch potatoes.
I found Dutch potatoes at Walmart. They were a little easy to miss because they were in a small 1.5 lb. bag and intermingled without a sign with the other kinds of potatoes.
Yum! Garlic Ranch Potatoes sounds great! This sounds like the perfect side dish.
Love parm potatoes! Ane those store bough dry packets of dressing are sometimes a life saver for easy dinners. Love everything about this!

As for staying slim, it is all about exercise and eating in moderation 🙂
Would also look appetizing with red potatoes mixed in. Extra eye appeal.
These look so yummy! Such a versatile side dish that would go great with any meal. Pinned!
About the ranch seasoning and salad dressing mix, are those two separate things, and do you mean the powder form of the seasoning. What about the salad dressing?

Hey, from what I can remember from living in aus this kind of stuff is not sold there. This is a hidden valley packet that is ranch flavored salad dressing all in one powder. Either order it online or have a friends send you some as they are really cheap. Best of luck hope that helps.
Can you please tell me what ranch dressing and salad mix is? I’m from Australia and haven’t heard of it

Looking good! Always fun to try a new way to enjoy potatoes. So comforting and easy too!
Love this idea. Not familiar with “Dutch” potatoes. Can any other kind work?
Yes, absolutely!
Hi could you give an example of what kinds please
Judy, you can use red or russet potatoes – although baby Dutch potatoes are best in this recipe!
Love this Chungah! I can’t stop eating potatoes – they’re my ultimate comfort food!
Nice recipe. Thanks so much.
They’re gorgeous and you’re the queen of taking things like potatoes or noodles and making them look like a feast fit for a queen! Browned to perfection and I bet taste amazing!
These look so fabulous I could scream! Roasted potatoes are my fav.
These look so good, but i don’t understand where you “Stir in butter until melted, about 1 minute”?
That’s exactly right! The residual heat of the potatoes will melt the butter so you can just stir that right in.
That was my question to, just add butter at the end to make super creamy or what? Sorry that I’m not quite understanding.
