Roasted Garlic Brussels Sprouts
The best garlic brussels sprouts ever, made with garlic and crisp bacon goodness!
I have never had a good relationship with brussels sprouts. That is, until I had this. Because at the end of the day, bacon always makes everything better.
Along with the bacon, these babies get roasted to absolute crisp-tender perfection, bubbling up in that bacon fat along with balsamic vinegar, and finally tossed with a little bit of honey for the hint of sweetness. Even the pickiest of eaters will be gobbling this up in no time!
Roasted Garlic Brussels Sprouts
Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 3 tablespoons balsamic vinegar, divided
- 2 pounds brussels sprouts, halved
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 4 slices bacon, diced
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Lightly oil a baking sheet or coat with nonstick spray.
- In a small bowl, whisk together honey and 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar; set aside.
- Place brussels sprouts in a single layer onto the prepared baking sheet. Add remaining 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar, olive oil, bacon and garlic; season with salt and pepper, to taste. Gently toss to combine.
- Place into oven and bake for 12-14 minutes, or until tender. Stir in honey mixture.

Bacon definitely makes everything better! I’ve never been a fan of brussels sprouts, this may be my gateway into the brussels sprouts lovers club.
I recently discovered your website and I must congratulate you on a great job. The site is visually appealing, the pictures are mouth watering and the recipes are clear and include prep, cooking and total time. The only thing missing are the calories, I always use these sites to do the calculations : http://caloriecount.about.com/ or http://www.myfitnesspal.com/ both are free.
The only this I would change is the orientation of the pictures, TVs and computer monitors are oriented in landscape not portrait mode.
Thank you very much

Thanks so much. Have a Wonderful Day.
Brussels sprouts, bacon, garlic, balsamic?? What could be better? I am heading to the “Brussels Sprouts” store RIGHT NOW!! Thank you!
Yesterday I got an email from Ziplist informing me that they will not be storing my saved recipies from your site. I hate to loose them all. Do you know about this and what can I do to save them and any more in the future?
My family and I really like your site.

Quick question about the bacon: is that tossed in raw, to cook up along with the Brussels sprouts? Thanks!
Yes, that’s exactly right!
Roasted brussel sprouts are the best. These look Delicious.
I JUST posted a Brussels Sprouts dish that made me a convert too! There’s something about roasting them to crispy perfection, that makes them SO GOOD.
Adding bacon definitely doesn’t hurt either 😉 Pinned!
Mmmm I made something pretty similar last year, and it was delicious! Only different is that I think I shredded the sprouts and used some sort of sausage instead of bacon. These look fantasmic though! 😀 x
I love Brussels sprouts and with the honey and balsamic in these, oh so good! I want the whole tray! 🙂
