One Pan Ranch Pork Chops and Veggies
The easiest 5-ingredient meal EVER! And yes, you just need one pan with 5 min prep. It’s quick, easy and effortless!
Yes. It’s the other white meat. Damn Delicious is taking a momentary break from all the chicken recipes and bringing out the pork goodness made on a single sheet pan.
And not only does this come together on a single pan with your desired veggies but you only need 5 ingredients! The main ingredient here is of course, the Ranch Seasoning and Salad Dressing Mix. If this product is not available in your country, there are many DIY recipes available online.
But for those of you who have access to this, I would stock up on this seasoning mix because you can really put this on anything and everything.
Now all you have to do here is sprinkle on that Ranch seasoning onto your pork chops, toss in your veggies, and pop it in the oven. That is it. Really. It’s just 5 ingredients, 5 min prep and one pan. Done.
One Pan Ranch Pork Chops and Veggies
Ingredients
- 4 8-ounce pork chops, bone-in, 3/4-inch to 1-inch thick
- 16 ounces baby red potatoes, halved
- 16 ounces green beans, trimmed
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 1-ounce package Ranch Seasoning and Salad Dressing Mix
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley leaves
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Lightly oil a baking sheet or coat with nonstick spray.
- Place pork chops, potatoes and green beans in a single layer onto the prepared baking sheet. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with Ranch Seasoning and garlic; season with salt and pepper, to taste.
- Place into oven and roast until the pork is completely cooked through, reaching an internal temperature of 140 degrees F, about 20-22 minutes.* Then broil for 2-3 minutes, or until caramelized and slightly charred.
- Serve immediately, garnished with parsley, if desired.

Has anyone tried to freeze this meal ahead? I know it’s simple but sounds wonderful as a frozen new mom meal or bereavement etc. What needs to be adjusted if so?
Are you using frozen green beans, canned green beans drained or fresh green beans? I know fresh would take a lot longer to cook.
I recommend using fresh.
Can you use frozen veggies in this recipe???
I recommend using fresh vegetables but as always, please use your best judgment regarding substitutions and modifications.
I’m going to try this tonight but I will be using up some fresh asparagus….stay tuned!
What a great easy yummy meal! Used carrots, potatoes& quartered onions. I believe the trick is keeping the chops not too thick.
I made this for dinner tonight, and it turned out fantastic! I’ll definitely be using it again… I used a Hidden Valley Fiesta Ranch (for a little extra flavor), and it turned out great!
This is a weekly staple at our house, absolutely delicious!!
Thanks so much for the great recipe! It’s in the oven right now for dinner tonight! 🙂
Wonderful recipe!! Instead of potatoes I used cauliflower And used a homemade version of the ranch dressing mix. Very easy and the pork was still juicy even though I used boneless. Family loved it!
I have also used carrots!
What if I don’t have potatoes? What can i use instead?
You can substitute another kind of vegetable but cooking time will have to be adjusted accordingly. As always, please use your best judgment regarding substitutions to suit your preferences.
Super easy & delish! I used what I had on hand, a ranch dip packet & carrots, instead of the dressing pack & green beans. Also used a casserole dish & covered w/ foil. Def can’t wait to try again, w/ the green beans. My family (super picky 2yo) ate every bite! Thanks Chungah for the one dish recipe!
I was thinking of making this meal for dinner tomorrow night, for my family. My worry is that the recipe serves 4 people and my family has 5 people. I really don’t want to double the recipe because of the price of 8 pork chops (espically knowing that they all probably won’t be eaten). Is there anyway I can alter the recipe to serve 5 or 6 people? Thanks! This recipe looks so delicious!
Yes, absolutely. You can multiply the recipe by 1.5.
Made tonight! So easy and delish! Thanks so much!
I’m excited to try this recipe, however, my oven does not have a “broil” setting…suggestions?
You can set the oven to the highest temperature available.
This was my first time cooking pork so I was nervous. It turned out great and was a simple recipe I couldn’t really mess up! Thanks!
Hi. Was wondering if you’ve ever tried Hidden Valley ‘buttermilk recipe’ with this? It’s what I have on hand, do you think it’ll work with this recipe?
I actually haven’t – sorry! But there are many easy peasy DIY Ranch Seasoning and Salad Dressing Mix recipes available online.
I think it would be better to bake it covered. Can’t imagine a pork chop turning out tender in this recipe. My potatoes were an inch and my oven temp is perfect.
As always, please do what works best for you.
I was very disappointed. Took a least 45 minutes and I cut my potatoes small. The pork chop were very dry.
Won’t be cooking it again
Thank you for your feedback. But instead of blaming the recipe, it is important to remember that many factors are at play here that may result in a failed outcome. I only share recipes that have been successful and well-tested in my own kitchen, but I understand that failures and mishaps can happen. But with a little bit more information, we can troubleshoot what went wrong to have a successful turnaround next time.
Now it seems that your potatoes may still be too large – it takes a WHOLE baked potato to cook through in 45 min – 1 hour. I recommend trying to cut your potatoes even smaller. The smaller the better! If not, you can cook the potatoes separately so that the pork chops are not overcooked.
I’m making this tonight!! So excited 🙂
