Healthy Pumpkin Puppuccinos
These pup-friendly drinks can be made in just 5 min with 5 ingredients that you already have on hand. So easy AND nutritious!
Yes, puppuccinos are really a thing. It’s actually from Starbucks where they fill a small cup with whipped cream along with your pup’s name on it. Except it’s all whipped cream.
Granted the cup is small and all but with two baby corgis that are prone to weight gain and health issues, I thought it would be best to make my own healthy puppuccinos with yogurt, pumpkin puree and old-fashioned oats.
To finish it off, I added a dollop of whipped cream, a sprinkling of cinnamon, and their favorite treat as a garnish.
After all, garnishes are most important, right?
Best of all, you only need 5 min and 5 ingredients for this. That’s it. And your pups can actually enjoy this all. year. long., unlike Starbucks’ PSL. It’s just not fair.
See, even Butters agrees.

I love this but was wondering if you can use canned pumpkin and which kind? Thanks so much for the healthy dog recipes. I cannot wait to try.
I love this recipe, I had all the ingredients already and my dog went crazy for it. My blender could not blend up ice, but after I blended everything and put it in the cup I added some sticks of ice and my do ate them after she had licked all the puppachino up from everywhere.
Over time I’ve made quite a few of your recipes. They have all been great. I just crossed this recipe and bookmarked it so I can get the ingredients. The nice thing is… I know it will be a good recipe. Thanks for putting the work into making a good site.
I’m so happy I found this recipe. We don’t have a Starbucks anywhere close so this will be great to treat my dog to her first Puppaccino
Thank you For this recipe for my dog. I was wondering about it.
You went to the trouble of making the puppaccino “healthier” and then still added whipped cream on top. I just don’t get it. Plus, fat free whip is definitely not any better than regular whipped cream for a dog. Pumpkin is really good for dogs though, so it seems like you kind of know what you’re doing…
It’s only a little on the top, and it’s way better than giving your pup a whole cup of whipped cream.
Where could I buy those cute cups for the pups?
They are available at Starbucks.
forgive if you think this is a duh . . . oats are precooked???
The oats are not precooked.
Where could I buy those cute cups for the pups?
You can find them at Starbucks!
I love the idea of puppucino! I will definitely be trying this. And your dogs are freaking adorable!
This is adorable and such a great idea! I will definitely be making this for my dog, Oliver! I think he will love it.
Your Corgis are beautiful (handsome?)! And I love the way they are posing. So patiently. My Lab would be insisting that she be served – now. Must try these drinks for her.
Our 2 Havanese get so excited when we go to Starbucks for puppaccino’s. Your recipe is such a great healthy alternative…THANK YOU! How did you ever get your puppies to sit so still for the picture with the yummy treats right in front of them? Adorable little furry buddies.
I think the photo of the “Puppuccino” with the “garnish” is freekin’ adorable! My two “kids” will surely enjoy ushering in fall with these delicious treats…garnish and all!

Your 2 babies are beautiful. I;ll bet they are both spoiled rotten. Thanks for all of the wonderful recipes.
This is, basically, my fall breakfast smoothie recipe. My dogs are going to have to share with me! 🙂
I’m typically more of a big dog person, but I have to you, your little furry friends are gorgeous! My dog loves SBX puppacinos but I do feel guilty giving them to him. He will love these. Thanks!
Your pups are so darn cute! The pupocchino looks yummy 🙂
I love this! I had no idea Starbucks would do that for dogs! I love that!
But making it yourself and healthier? SO nice!
These are too cute!! My Chiweenie used to love licking the froth from my latte cups. I can’t wait to make this. 🙂
