Garlic Butter Salmon in Foil: Frequently Asked Questions
Unsalted butter allows you to add as much salt (or as little) salt in your dish. It allows for more control and consistency.
You can replace unsalted butter with salted butter in a pinch, reducing the amount of salt indicated in the recipe, and adding to taste.
Absolutely! But because dried herbs are often more potent/concentrated than fresh herbs, you need less when using dry. The correct ratio is 1 tablespoon fresh herbs to 1 teaspoon dried herbs.
Garlic Butter Salmon in Foil

Good Recipe. I Love This
Hi Chungah, I tried the recipe tonite for dinner & it was delicious!!! It was fast & easy!!! Thank you.
I trust you like I don’t trust anyone else. I tried your Quinoa with some drip beef I had made, and my hubby and I loved it. I am trying your recipes like crazy and can’t wait to do the salmon. I hate fish! But salmon, done right, can be delishious. You may be responsible for my future health. I have liver problems and have been told not to eat sugar ANYMORE. It was hard at first, but with recipes like yours, I am seeing a future with food in it AND I’ve lost 10 lbs.!!
I look forward to a long life serving your recipes. June

Whenever I cook salmon in foil, parts of it tend to get stuck to the foil once cooked. Do you have any tips to prevent this?
You can try using nonstick spray.
I use Reynolds non-stick foil. And No I don’t work for Reynolds. 🙂
