These quick wraps are so much fun and easy, packed with strawberries, pretzels, tangerines and celery sticks!
This is one of those snack boxes that gives me a little bit of everything. The salty and the sweet.
The peanut butter banana wraps are a great energy snack too, particularly for an afternoon before you hit the gym or before the kids go to sports practice.
Bananas are full of Vitamin B6, which can help you sleep well, and the magnesium helps to relax muscles. They also contain some good sugar to help fuel your muscles and brain.
You can certainly use gluten free wraps if thats your preference. I personally like the whole wheat tortilla.
The peanut butter can be subbed for any nut butter and on occasion, on a very rare occasion, I have been known to sub the peanut butter for Nutella.
I know. I know.
But sometimes you just need to!
The celery and tangerine provide a good dose of fiber and vitamins, particularly vitamin C.
One word of warning though.
It is advisable to bag the pretzels separately in a Ziploc bag before packing up your meal prep box. Otherwise they become soggy after a few hours.
As always, you can interchange the fruit for whatever you want.
One of my clients makes a shredded apple and almond butter wrap. It’s amazing, so don’t be afraid to get creative with your ideas!

How can you stop the banana from browning ?
I made the PEANUT BUTTER AND BANANA ROLL UPS for my 4 y/o semi-picky eater after he had stopped eating PB&Js I put in his lunchbox. Holy crap. He calls these things Yummy Buddies and loves them. They are easier/quicker to make than PB&Js, too.
Wohoo Chungah, Peanut butter and banana roll-ups are by far the best snack I have for my son. They are high in protein and low in sugar, which is great for his growing body. The protein will help him grow strong, while the low sugar will keep him from getting too hyper. I also like that they are individually wrapped, which makes them easy to bring on trips or throw in the diaper bag.
These look beautiful and filling. It seems like a nice picnic idea. We take a ton of lunch on the go in the summer. I am going to add this to the rotation. Thanks for the tip
This seems like a lot for a snack! Or is this a lunch?
It’s completely up to you! 🙂
I’m seriously intrigued by the shredded apple and Pb combo. How would you go about shredding the apple? food processor? And how finely does your client shred it? Thank you! These look delicious.
Michelle, you can use a grater or food processor – either works! 🙂
Don’t the bananas turn brown?
You can put some lemon juice on them to keep them from turning 🙂
I love this how many calories are in this??
I think my kids would love it too but i might change the banana roll up for hard boiled eggs some times 🙂

How long would this last in the refrigerator?
A few days at least but as I am not an expert on food safety, I cannot really say with certainty – sorry, Michelle! Methods for optimal food storage and shelf life should be based on good judgment and what you are personally comfortable with.
Where do you order your your containers from ?
Amazon!
What size container do you use?
I used these containers:
https://www.amazon.com/LIFT-Certified-BPA-Free-Microwavable-Containers/dp/B0128YT76S/.
I had plans to make these exactly as pictured, but the containers I purchased were too small. But the pictures still inspired me to put the celery in, top with peanut butter (my Kirkland brand is a little soupy so drizzles it was!), strawberries, oranges, and the pretzels! I think myself and my daughter will really enjoy.
Do you know why I love this site so much?
Not only are the recipes great, there are gorgeous photos and it’s also on trend. Beautifully done!
