Honey Lime Shrimp
Super saucy, garlicky, sweet and tangy! And it’s on your dinner table in just 20 MINUTES! So fast and oh so good.
I know the shrimp is supposed to be the main hero and all but my goodness.
That sauce. That pooled sauce the shrimp is swimming in. Now that is the true hero here.
It’s sweet, it’s tangy, it’s buttery, it’s garlicky. It’s absolute saucy goodness. And everything you could want in a sauce.
Have some crusty bread nearby because you’ll want to sop up ALL of it, leaving zero leftovers behind.

One of the BEST shrimp dishes I have ever had!!
Delicious – would love to see nutritional breakdown, please.
Delicious! Doesn’t need the extra butter at the end. Served over rice, with sugar snap peas. Will make it again with less butter.
This recipe was sooooo good. I put it over couscous but I wouldn’t use couscous again, I think jasmine rice would be better. The flavor is delicious and definitely not spicy.
I made this Honey Lime Shrimp recipe today and it was outstanding! I had it with Spanish rice. I will certainly make it again. You’re right the sauce is wonderful.
This shrimp recipe was beyond delicious! I have not had a shrimp dish with so much flavor in really long time. Thank you so much for sharing this recipe!
Another great recipe! It was so quick and easy to prepare, and yet so delicious! Thank you for yet another terrific meal!
I’ve made the shrimp zucchini and bell pepper over noodles with the wonderful sauce three times in the last three days. We can’t get enough of it! It’s so yummy. Thank you for your amazing easy recipes. Not sure what to try next!!
Blown away with how good this was! It was so simple and so delicious. My family loved it. I will be saving it to make again in the future with how good it was!
Made this last night and as usual for your recipes it was great. Served over rice and with steamed sugar snap peas on the side it made a very nice summer meal.
Oh, those shrimp look so appetizing. I’m sure they will be extremely tasty. They are caramelized to perfection. This is a great summer dinner. If they are garnished with a glass of white wine or ouzo and good company, it will be a great evening!
Absolutely a Make again meal. Crusty Bread a must to sop up the delicious sauce.
This was SO delicious! Made this last night and it was a hit with both my husband and teenage son. Will be definitely making this again. Thank you for the fabulous recipe!
Simply fabulous and easy recipe! Only problem….I needed to double it for my family of 5. Served it over some lime-flavored Jasmine rice. Teenagers were literally fighting over who got to eat the last shrimp! This was a hit and requested immediately for future meals.
Made this recipe this evening. Omg the flavors were unbelievable. Definitely a keeper.
Looks fab. Can anyone tell me how spicy it is? 1 1/2 t chili powder sounds like a lot to this “1 star” gal, but I hesitate to simply decrease it in case that’d throw off the balance of flavors. Thanks!
Not too spicy at all! My 10-year-old, whom doesn’t love heat, gobbled up these shrimp!
This is THE BEST honey lime shrimp I’ve tried. Thank you for sharing.
Looks great…tangy and easy for us “males” to make!
This sauce sounds delicious. One of my family members doesn’t like shrimp. Do you think we can use cut up chicken tenders in it’s place? Any tricks before I try?
I haven’t tried that Belinda, but I’ll chime in to say that one of my favorite recipes is honey lime chicken enchiladas, and it is very, very similar to this recipe. It is so delicious! If I were you I’d make this, but reserve a portion of the marinade (the honey/lime/chili/garlic), and toss cooked chicken tenders with it.
Made this last night and it was a hit! My husband said “if it was easy to make” then I should add it to our regular rotation – which is his highest complement. And it was very simple and quick to make. The sauce is delicious!
