Sparkling Cherry Lemonade
The easiest, budget-friendly lemonade that you can make in just 15 min. No simple syrup needed!
Just the other night, Jason and I were packing up some boxes for our move to LA when I came across a brand new cherry pitter that I’ve never used before. It may have been sitting in our cabinet for a year now, so instead of packing it up with the rest of our kitchen stuff, I decided to christen it with this amazing cherry lemonade.
Now if you’ve been following Damn Delicious for awhile now, you’ll know that I’ve made quite a few different kinds of lemonades – strawberry lemonade, blueberry lemonade, raspberry peach lemonade – you name it. Yes, I may just have a thing for lemonades. But out of all the lemonades, this is by far the easiest lemonade I’ve ever made.
There’s absolutely no simple syrup or straining involved here. All you have to do is pitt your cherries and throw everything else right into the blender. When ready to serve, just pour in your cherry mixture with sparkling water and that’s it! It’s incredibly refreshing with the perfect combination of sweet and tartness in a glass of bubbly goodness. It’s so good, you’ll want to sip on this all year long!
Sparkling Cherry Lemonade

- ¾ cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
- ⅔ cup sugar
- 4 cups sparkling water
Instructions
- To make the cherry syrup, combine cherries, lemon juice and sugar in blender until smooth. Place in the refrigerator until chilled.

What kind of cherries did you use? Cherries from a jar or frozen?
Deborah, I used fresh cherries.
This is my kind of lemonade. No, straining or simple syrup!?! Perfect because I am far too lazy to make simple syrup for a drink, lol
I love the blue shirt in the background – stunning colors! This lemonade is so perfect for summertime, with the super easy blender method I’ll be making this all the time!

This looks so damn delicious ! If I can’t find any fresh cherries can I substitute frozen cherries?
Yes, that should work just fine. I would make sure they are thawed prior to using.
I’m obsessed with lemonade too! Love the lack of simple syrup – very smart!
