Lemon Parmesan Asparagus
A quick and easy side dish with fresh lemon juice, garlic and Parmesan goodness, made with just 5 min prep!
Roasted asparagus is one of my absolute favorite side dishes ever. It’s quick, easy, and pairs with almost every dish. But after I made the parmesan lemon zucchini last week, I decided to give that flavor combo a try with these. And boy, was I in for a treat.
Now this is just as simple as roasted asparagus with a few easy additions – freshly squeezed lemon juice, pressed garlic, and a sprinkling of freshly grated Parmesan cheese. That’s it. But don’t be fooled – these three simple additions bring in so much flavor to such an easy side dish.
Best of all, you can control exactly how much lemon juice and Parmesan you want. And if you double the Parmesan cheese – well, I definitely won’t be the one judging. After all, you can never have too much Parmesan cheese!

Your recipes are always the best, Chungah. This is now the only way I want to eat asparagus, which I don’t ordinarily like. Thank you!
Fabulous. Easy. Go to asparagus recipe. Twice this week!
Excellent recipe! Easy, quick and delicious! I have used this recipe several times now! Thank you!
Easy recipe and delicious that can go with pretty much everything!
I don’t really like asparagus but I must say… this is a hit! I made it tonight and will make it again!
This was excellent, with thanks to the person who cooked it for 15 min at 375F. We were also cooking something at that temperature at the same time. Worked out very well.
Definitely putting this recipe into the rotation. It was easy and awesome.
Love this recipe!!! I don’t even like asparagus that much but I think I’ll be eating it regularly now. The lemon just makes the dish sooo good. Plus as someone who is just starting to cook, this is so easy! Thank you for the recipe!!
I made this tonight for the 3rd time. I tweaked it slightly, there’s a local company called Great Oil who does infused olive oils (among other things), I used garlic infused olive oil along with some garlic powder, did it at 375F for 15 min (I was using the oven for something else), was delicious! So far, for every 25 degree difference, I’ve added 5 min to the cooking time and its worked out great.
I didn’t really eat asparagus growing up (except for the one time my aunt grilled some and smothered them in butter and I fell in love). So, I’m not really sure why it took me so long to start trying recipes that feature asparagus. Last week I made a shrimp and asparagus stir fry that even my picky, veggie hating fiance liked. So I figured what the heck, maybe he’ll eat asparagus on their own. This recipe was a total success! He even declined when I offered to sprinkle on some more Parmesan (and he never says no to more cheese). Thank you so much for sharing! I’ll be keeping this recipe for a snack or yummy side dish for chicken or fish as I attempt to get the mister and I eating healthier.
Just discovered damn delicious & as a pre diabetic type 2 veggie I am luvin your site Mmm mm
This was a hit! Awesomely delicious. Thank you. It will find a place of honor among the “keepers”.
