DIY Pizza Lunchables

This is so much better, tastier and healthier than the store-bought kind! Prep/make ahead of time for the week in just 10-15 min!
Do you remember Lunchables?
Every time my mom packed me a Lunchable, I couldn’t wait for the lunch bell to ring.
With my Capri Sun in hand, I felt like king of the world.
And you know the pizza variety was my absolute fave.
But since I’m now apparently an adult doing adult-like things, I can’t be chomping down on a Lunchabe.
I mean, the Capri Sun might be passable.
But not the Lunchable.
Instead, I’ll inhale the healthier DIY version.
It’s the easiest DIY ever too. With just 6 ingredients.
- Your favorite crackers
- Marinara or pizza sauce
- Reduced fat mozzarella cheese
- Mini pepperoni
- Grapes
- Preservative-free, heart-healthy Fisher Nuts almonds
And you can prep for the week ahead in these meal prep containers.
Plus, you’ll never have to grab a store-bought Lunchable again!
For the kids and grown-ups, of course!

Why not use cheesesticks instead?
You can certainly use cheesesticks if you prefer. 🙂
What pita crackers and marinara did you use?
I used Trader Joe’s pita bite crackers and Whole Foods 365 marinara sauce.
Love this! I meal prepped it this last week and they were so delicious that I actually turned my coworkers down when they invited me out to lunch one day. And not only were they tasty, but also easy and quick to assemble!
These are so cute! Thank-you for sharing this and for others like me wondering about reusable sauce/dip cups they do exist. Just search on google or even amazon and there are a few options out there that also come with lids.
“Just to say “thank you” We all enjoyed your delicious
food and the evening was everything we hoped it would
be. Thank you so much.“
I love this idea! My daughter is 12 and I still pack her lunch every day!! Thanks!
This is genius!
Where do you find the little dip cup with attached lid? I love your lunches!
Also, Amazon.com! 🙂

I make these for my hubby all the time, but I usually use mini turkey pepperoni and the smallest flour tortillas instead of crackers. I place the cheese and pepperoni in snack sized ziplock bags (or in pieces of plastic wrap folded up around them to make a pouch) and the sauce in a plastic mini condiment squeeze container I found that was for salad dressing! He likes having the option to eat it cold or zap it in the microwave. And I think the kid in him likes to put it all together like a lunchable…
LOVE this! Pizza Lunchables were my absolute favorite, too! And they are especially associated with positive memories, as my parents would only buy them for special occasions like FIELD TRIPS because they (rightfully so) thought they were overpriced. Where do you find those mini pepperonis??
Most grocery stores should carry them!
My first thought was “Who puts almonds on pizza?”. I’m not a smart man.
Which brand of crackers did you use? They look like little pitas! Could you use little pita rounds or would they get soggy in the fridge?
I used Trader Joe’s pita bite crackers.
Anyone know of a reusable alternative to the small, round throwaway cups?
What about silicone baking cups?
Excellent Rachel!
You could also put them back in the meal prep box, hand wash them at home, and then reuse them. I wouldn’t put them in the dishwasher; they are too light and thin. Although “disposable,” they can be reused several times before being thrown out.
These are too cute!
I appreciate you putting in where you got the meal containers! Where did you get the little round containers that you put the sauce, pepperoni and cheese into? I can’t wait to try these!
Also, Amazon.com! 🙂

This is really cool! Where do you buy the tiny round containers that fit within these meal prep containers?

Pizza lunchables were my favorite as a kid and to this day I’m always so tempted to buy one…just for fun. Love your healthy, updated take on a classic favorite 🙂
