Raspberry Peach Lemonade
Fresh raspberries and peaches add such a wonderfully fruity flavor in this refreshing drink!
October is designated as National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and is dedicated to raising awareness and educating individuals about breast cancer. So Cassie from Bake Your Day and Erin from Dinners, Dishes, and Desserts have teamed up this week to bring a full week of pink recipes, or recipes that are helpful in fighting cancer.
I was so touched when Erin had asked me to join in on helping to raise awareness. I want to help in any way possible in hopes that more lives can be saved by increasing awareness. Thus, I bring you raspberry peach lemonade. It’s an incredibly refreshing combo of fruits, with just enough agave to bring you a little bit of sweetness. And even though the weather is cooling, a fresh, cold glass of raspberry peach lemonade can always be a delightful treat.
Raspberry Peach Lemonade
Ingredients
- ¼ cup agave nectar
- 6 ounces raspberries
- 3 medium peaches, sliced
- 1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
Instructions
- In a medium saucepan, combine 1 cup water and agave over medium heat until the agave has dissolved, about 1 minute. Add raspberries and peaches, and simmer, stirring occasionally, until raspberries have broken down, about 5 minutes.
- With the top cap removed, combine raspberry peach mixture in a blender until smooth, about 1 minute; let cool completely before straining through a cheesecloth or fine sieve.
- In a large pitcher, whisk together raspberry peach mixture, lemon juice and 5 cups water. Place in the refrigerator until chilled.
- Serve over ice and raspberries, if desired.

If you would like me to credit you in a different way or remove the reference, please let me know – I would be happy to oblige!
