What if you don’t have an electric mixer? Can I mix by hand or use a food processor? Thanks for the great recipes!
I’ve been making this dip for years and it is always a hit! I sub greek yogurt for the sour cream and typically add more taco seasoning. I also leave off the olives and tortilla strips, and serve with Fritos scoops or blue corn chips.
Sorry. Not sure if it is on my end but the recipes are not included in your post. Thank you. Jana Pellegrini
My apologies – the website was undergoing an update but the recipes have now been fully restored. Thank you so much for your patience!
What is the first ingredient? 8oz package of what???
1 (8-ounce) package 1/3 less fat Philadelphia Cream Cheese, at room temperature.
I use black beans rather than black olives. Excellent
Great, easy, and simple recipe! Was a huge hit in our family. They literally licked the bowl clean!
Okay, my friend and I just inhaled about half a recipe of this in one sitting. Amazingly delicious!
Good stuff! Always loved dips. This looks marvellous!
In the picture it looks like there is chopped avocado in this, is there?
Yes, Christine. I added diced avocado as a garnish. You can feel free to add or omit as preferred.
This is so gorgeous! I love dips and want to make this ASAP. It might be our lunch today or tomorrow 🙂
Just wondering if you could make this ahead of time for a work potluck?
Yes, absolutely. Just be sure to add the toppings right before serving.
Ok thanks! Do you think the avocado would be ok cut up the nightbefore?
looks amazing!
Substitute greek yogurt for the sour cream and it’s even healthier. With the added ingredients, you won’t even be able to tell the difference. Looks great!
I don’t see avocado listed in the ingredients, but the picture looks like it is in the dip> Can you clarify that?
The avocado here is simply used as a garnish. You can feel free to add or omit as needed.
