Raspberry Limoncello Prosecco - Amazingly refreshing, bubbly, and sweet - a perfect summer cocktail that you can make in just 5 minutes!

We made it! After 2 days of driving down the California coast, we have successfully moved into our new place. We currently do not have any furniture in the house so we’re sleeping on an air mattress and catching up on our tv shows on our living room floor. I’m also sipping on this glorious summer cocktail as I’m unpacking boxes left and right – hey, we all need some sort of balance, right?

Now this cocktail – I could seriously sip on this all day. It’s wonderfully refreshing and sweet with all that bubbly goodness. You can also toss in some frozen raspberries or strawberries for that elegant touch – either way, these cocktails go perfectly for a summer party or an added bonus to get you through the week.

And I promise you – I won’t judge you if you start sipping on this at 10AM because, well, that’s exactly what I’ve been doing this entire week!

Amazingly wonderful. I was looking for the perfect lomoncello drink and I found it.

  2. I’m planning on making this and bringing it to a dinner party.. how soon ahead do you think I can make it? Or should it be made right on the spot? Also I couldn’t find frozen raspberries so ended up getting a mixed bag of strawberries, blueberries, blackberries and raspberries. Fingers crossed it’s still good!

  3. We served these this morning for our Easter Brunch. we’ve served mimosa’s the past couple years and only about 3 people drink them. We made 2 pitchers of Lemoncello Procecco and would have made a third if we’d had another bottle of Prosecco. Thanks for the great recipe.

  4. Can I use normal sparkling wine? Prosecco is very expensive in South Africa

  5. This looks amazing! We are going to try to make this our “signature cocktail” for our wedding next week! We are having about 135 guests – how many batches do you think we will need to make?

  6. Do you recommend a brut prosecco or the dry or semi-dry?

  7. Awesome cocktails, Chungah! As always, thank you so mcuh for sharing your experience! 🙂

  8. Yum! I can’t wait to try this tonight! It will just be me, though…is there a way to make just one (or two) glasses? Thank you 🙂

  9. I have mixed Limoncello with Prosecco before and it is a winning combination; I actually prefer it to the traditional Bellini. We are going to make this recipe today. I have frozen raspberries (I picked fresh last fall) and fresh mint.

  10. I saw this among your recipes, and had to check it out based on limoncello, love to make it and always curious about new drink recipes for it, this looks great, especially with prosecco, which I prefer over champagne, and also the mint, love that too, thank you for this!

  11. I’ve never been much of a wine person but I may have to try this.  We used to do shots of Limoncello at the bar I worked at so I know I’ll enjoy it. Thank you for the recipe.

  12. I think I focused too much on the word sweet in the description, but I shared this with 3 other friends last night and no one thought it was sweet. One gal liked it pretty well as is, but the rest of us couldn’t drink it. I doctored mine with some addtl sparkling water, muddled up the raspberries and mint and added some Truvia we had laying around.  That was also my first time buying limoncello and I assumed it would be sweeter.
The drink was so pretty though.
Love your sangrias…think I’ll stick with those.

  13. Just made a single glass of a drink served at my niece’s bridal shower. I put about 1/4 c homemade limoncello and 1 cup prosecco  and added chewy ice since it’s 100 degrees here. I took a sip and my mouth was in heaven. Preparing for guests this weekend and since I’d never sampled my limoncello thought this would be a good test.  Now that I’ve found your recipe, I will be all set to make a refreshing pitcher for their arrival. BTW I have pinned and prepared many of your recipes from Pinterest and have always been pleased with the results!

  14. We made this recipe – yum! Because it was too sweet for us, we added club soda to tame the sweetness.

  15. This was so good. My BFF and I really enjoyed the drink, not to sweet or tart. i did add a squeeze of lime to my glass.

  16. Having some now with ham and chorizo risotto. Excellent together!

  17. I made this for a party last night and everyone loved it! Can’t wait to make it again!!

  18. Went to make this for a dinner-party yesterday. Just a word of warning: do NOT use Limoncello Crema! We had a bottle so I thought, “ya, that’s the same, should be fine,” but it kind of curdled when mixed with the Prosecco. Oops! Luckily we had some Prosecco left so we just drank that by itself. hehe

  19. This looks a-maz-ing!! I can’t wait for the weather to warm up a little here and then I can give it a try! I hope you don’t mind, but I have referenced this page on my own blog – fully reference to you of course! But it looks too lovely not to share!

  20. Making these tomorrow and need to know what “limoncello liqueur” is? Do I find it in the alcohol section of my store? If they don’t have it can I substitute regular lemonade? Thank you for a quick response PLEASE!

    • Yes, it should be located in the liquor section – it’s a very mainstream item so they should definitely have it!

  21. What brand of limoncello and Prosecco do you recommend?

    • I actually don’t recommend any particular brand as I tend to use what is best for my budget and what is available at my local grocery store.

  22. Can you sub in dry champagne instead of Prosecco? I already have two bottles of champagne so just curious! Stop it

  23. We went to dinner at our friends’ last night and they served this. Let me tell you, we had 2 glasses each and we were hammered. It was so delicious but I couldn’t even have wine with dinner. I’m serving these next weekend when our friends come over for dinner. Thanks for the recipe.

  24. I bought some very dry Prosecco so I added a little simple syrup and also a 4-5 frozen strawberries along with the raspberries and Mint… HOLY CANNOLI that was amazing!!!

  25. Just gorgeous! I’d take one of these right about now. Because 2:31 on a Friday afternoon can be cocktail time, right?

  26. I’ll have to make this drink. Looks so good and refreshing!

  37. The raspberries in the picture do not look like frozen raspberries which are usually sad collapsed things not the plump berries shown. That said, frozen raspberries would probably contribute more flavor and color to the cocktail than fresh ones.

  38. Why does this drink seem familiar to me? I think you have another older post with prosecco and berries, right? I think I need to make them both and then do a taste test 🙂 Congrats on making it through your move and even posting – amazing! Love the images, too!

  39. This looks like one refreshing drink! Pinning.

  40. Wow, this drink looks super refreshing! I love boozy raspberries, they are the best!

  41. Refreshing is right! This looks so perfect for a summer party. Good luck with moving and everything!

  42. Yum – this looks perfectly lovely and refreshing! I’m moving later this month too – having a few glasses of this while unpacking sounds like a great idea 🙂

  43. This looks super refreshing! I’m glad to hear that you guys made it and are slowly unpacking. Doesn’t moving want to make you get rid of all of the extra “stuff” in your life?! That’s how I always feel. This drink looks amazing and I love lemoncello!

  44. Mmm I love your recipes for drinks, they always look so stunning and refreshing 😀 x

  45. Looks delicious, bubbly, refreshing…a perfect summer drink!
