Bang Bang Shrimp Pasta
The favorite bang bang shrimp is turned into the creamiest, easiest pasta dishes of all!
I’ve been somewhat obsessed with this whole bang bang sauce so in an effort to have it again for like the 10th time in the last 3 weeks, I decided to give it a try in a pasta form. And boy, am I glad I did because of all the bang bang recipes I’ve tried lately, the pasta one turned out to be the best.
It’s also the easiest bang bang recipe ever! All you have to do is roast some shrimp in a little bit of paprika for that smoky flavor, and while that’s in the oven, you can boil up your pasta, and make that epic, creamy bang bang sauce. Once that’s done, you can toss those together for the creamiest pastas of all time, giving you a kick of heat and refreshing tangy goodness!

This recipe was a HUGE hit at our house because of the amazing balance between sweet and heat.
The best! I added a little more sciracha to ours. Will decently make again
Really easy!! Unique flavor blend. Had to make my own sweet Thai chili sauce —but googled a simple recipe for that too.
I am going to try this receipt, it sound nice and yummy
Bang Bang Pasta is a staple in our house! This recipe is so yummy. It’s definitely best with shrimp, but we sometimes sub chicken because we have that on hand more. 10/10!
Wow! That flavor is something else! It is delicious, made it for my boyfriend for a lunch date and it was a hit! Will definitely make again!
I made this tonight for 5 people and two lunches tomorrow. I used 4x each ingredient and used bucatini instead of spaghetti. Everyone loved it! Thank you for sharing!
how did you choose to reheat the next day?
I just made this and it is so good! Thank you so much
Made this tonight for dinner. It’s definitely different from our blah day to day meals. I read the other comments before making this so I did do a tiny bit of tweaking. I added more garlic… because you measure garlic with your heart. I added more of the sweet chili sauce as suggested in another comment because I was afraid it would taste like mayonnaise. I also juiced the whole lime, not half. I found it to be very similar in taste to yum yum sauce, but spicy. If I make this dish again I will try it with the yogurt instead of the mayo. And probably halve the amount. In my opinion adding more sweet chili sauce only added to the sweetness it didn’t take away the mayo flavor. It was a great choice for trying something new and different and we may incorporate it into the lineup again with some of the mentioned tweaks not tried this time.
Easy and delicious, hubby approved. I used fresh basil instead of parsley because that’s what I had. I will use a little less mayo next time and more basil
A lot of people posted they thought the sauce had a strong mayonnaise flavor, which turned them off. Most recipes for bang, bang shrimp are for equal parts mayo and sweet chili sauce. You may prefer to use equal parts mayo and sweet chili.
I followed directions exactly. Flavor was very good, I just found it to slightly dry. Did I use too much pasta?
Always save a half cup of your pasta water when draining the pasta. Use it to add to sauces that are a bit dry (a few tablespoons at a time until you get the desired consistency). It will give the sauce a silky texture and help it adhere to the pasta. Delicious addition to any pasta/sauce dish.
Wonderful recipe. Quick and easy.
Its something super easy to change up to fit your taste. I like more heat so I add more Sriracha.
So easy and quick to make! Love this recipe
I thought it was good but way too much mayo. I’ll try it again with way less.
Just sent my review, lost my 5 stars, also misspelled email.
Yum!
I recently bought this at a grocery deli, never had it before. Flavor was good but egg noodles they used were overdone, if there was shrimp in it I didn’t see any.
I had most of what I needed to make it, but needed to improvise a bit. I had cooked deveined shrimp in freezer, so I added the smoked paprika to the sauce. This turned out delicious.
Came here to find this recipe again. My wife requested it for her birthday dinner tonight. Awesome recipe!
Amazing recipe, we loved it. Great flavour and the sauce was fantastic. Thanks so much!
Awesome Dish !!!!
