Bang Bang Shrimp Pasta
The favorite bang bang shrimp is turned into the creamiest, easiest pasta dishes of all!
I’ve been somewhat obsessed with this whole bang bang sauce so in an effort to have it again for like the 10th time in the last 3 weeks, I decided to give it a try in a pasta form. And boy, am I glad I did because of all the bang bang recipes I’ve tried lately, the pasta one turned out to be the best.
It’s also the easiest bang bang recipe ever! All you have to do is roast some shrimp in a little bit of paprika for that smoky flavor, and while that’s in the oven, you can boil up your pasta, and make that epic, creamy bang bang sauce. Once that’s done, you can toss those together for the creamiest pastas of all time, giving you a kick of heat and refreshing tangy goodness!

If you love recipes that are easy and have flavor this is the recipe for you! Not only is it easy to make it has great flavor and it is delicious! My kids keep asking me to make it!
I saved this recipe years ago on TasteSpotting.com when you first posted. I had some green tea soba from Trader Joes and didn’t know what to do with it. I didn’t want to buy miso and other things I wont use for 6oz of noodles. SOO! I remembered this, and made it! It was very yummy!! I wish I hadn’t waited so long to try this, or… maybe that’s a good thing with all the mayo?
Thanks for sharing a great recipe!!
So glad I found this recipe! My husband and I love the bright, refreshing flavours! While I make the prawns for him, I substituted with chicken breast and it comes out beautifully for non seafood lovers. Absolutely delicious! Thank you
It was a tasty dish snd easy to prepare. It is a family style recipe.
This is so freaking delicious! I couldn’t wait till it was done, and my husband and I ate it like we haven’t eaten in a week; just saying mmm! Mmm? Mmmm. Thank you!
Made this tonight….with some trepidation I must admit. However was more than pleased with it, the unlikely combination of mayo, sweet chili and pepper flavours turned out extremely well. Definitely a keeper!
Oh Good Lord, this was so delicious!
I can’t even begin to tell!!
Easy recipe and full of flavor. Man, it will knock your socks off!
Thank you!
Wow! I made this tonight and it is so delicious! Thank you for this recipe!
Delicious
Hello, what changes do I need to make to adapt the recipe to make it in an instant pot? Thanks.
I wouldn’t try to do pasta in an instant pot… it will probably get soggy.
Incorrect. perfect every time! Cook at high pressure according to box for pasta. Add at least a cup or two of liquid to the pot before cooking.
This looks amazing! Would this work with bay scallops rather than shrimp?
I make this all the time for my family and it is hands down my favorite way to have shrimp!!! Thanks!!!
This dish was absolutely delectable. My entire family enjoyed it. I have 18, 17, and 13 year olds. All teenagers and terribly persnickety. I thought the dish was going to be spicy. It wasn’t. I prepared the dish as it was written with no.improvisation. i added a lite ceasar salad on side with garlic bread. This pairs nicely with Pinot Grigio.
This was delicious. The recipe is definitely a keeper.
I made this tonight for my family. I doubled the recipe because we have 5 of us. The kids thought it was too creamy, and especially hot. I used mostly Greek Yogurt with a drop of mayo. I added the spice as per the recipe. I personally liked the flavor, but I can’t make this again for my kids 16,13, and 10.
So good! Doubled the recipe and only one bowl left for leftovers.
This really is so delicious!! I ve been cooking this for 5 years since the time i saw this recipe. My husband really likes it and would always request for this recipe..Thankyou so much
Very unique flavor, enjoyed it. The shrimp are great, I did put more lime juice in to this recipe, thanks so much. Something alittle different.
I followed this recipe exactly but substituted the mayo with Greek yogurt. Sauce was creamy, NO greasy appearance. It was a little spicy for me but me daughter who loves hot spicy foods LOVED it. My family thought pea pods would be a delicious bit of snap to this dish.
I was very skeptical at first! I didn’t know rather or not it would be enough sauce and I really am not a huge fan of mayo. I substituted the mayo for heavy cream and also doubled the sauce ingredients… and WHEW CHILE it was delicious!!! My hubby really enjoyed it A LOT. This recipe will definitely be added to my collection!
