Garlic Parmesan Roasted Shrimp
The easiest roasted shrimp cocktail ever made with just 5 min prep. Yes, it’s just that easy!
If you’re ever in need of a quick and easy appetizer, look no further because this can be made in 5 min. Yes. 5 min.
Although if your shrimp isn’t already peeled, it may take a little longer – say 12 minutes – but still. Once they are peeled and ready to go, you are set! All you need is olive oil, garlic, freshly grated Parmesan and some pantry spices. That’s it.
Once they’ve been roasted to that glorious orange perfection, go ahead and add that squeeze of lemon juice. Easy peasy, right?

I really enjoyed the recipe. I loved the simplicity and the taste was awesome. I didn’t have the fresh parsley or dried basil. I also used garlic powder instead of fresh and it still was delicious. This recipe is definitely a keeper! Thank you.
This was fantastic! So easy to make. I made an Alfredo sauce with rotini noodles to go with it. Absolutely loved it! Will make it again and it again.
Perfection!
I made fried catfish yesterday and my husband had a craving for po’boys, which I had never had before, this was wonderful with the catfish and homemade remoulade
Thank you
This was delicious and super easy. I didn’t have any lemons so I reduced the olive oil and used some lemon herb with evoo dressing to add the lemon taste. I’m always impressed with how delicious your recipes are yet so easy. Thanks
This is great . Love it.
I found this recipe and made it for us last week. Super easy and delish! My husband was thrilled. I did toss the shrimp in the a bowl with the ingredients to make sure it was coated all the way. making it again tonight w my crab cakes…Super YUM!!!
That’s great! Thanks for sharing 🙂
I’m no cook. I am often disappointed with the taste of the food I prepare. This recipe allowed me to feel confident about my cooking ability. Tomorrow is another day, but thank you for todays success!
Yay! So happy to hear it!
You say to gently toss the seasonings but do you mean toss the shrimp in the seasoning but then you say to lay them on the cooking sheet I don’t understand when you add the seasonings
Hi Terri! You lay the shrimp on the baking sheet, add the seasoning and then gently toss to evenly spread the seasoning. Hope that answered your question!
I don’t have any basil. Okay to make without it?
Yes, you can omit and substitute with another herb of your choice!
My mother and I found your recipe and were excited to try it. However, my stepdad won’t eat shrimp. My mom decided to add two small cod loins to the dish, he loved them! Told us that was the best cod he’s had in years and he’s looking forward to having it again. Thank you for the wonderful recipe that we all enjoyed.
Just made this (minus the lemon because I didn’t have any) and they turned out AMAZING! I decided to add some steamed asparagus on the side and grated fresh parmesan over it. It was the perfect compliment. Definitely on my weekly dinner rotation!
This shrimp is AMAZING! Def. going on our dinner rotation!! So easy to make and great flavors!!!
This shrimp is absolutely delicious! My kids asked to have it again soon. It will definitely go into the rotation as it is quick, easy and fairly healthy!!
Recipe needs to state defrost shrimp first for dummies like myself. Bc I just did everything and read in comments shrimp have to be defrosted. So I had to start all over. Ugh
Leanne, it is always best to use defrosted shrimp in any recipe.
Thank you for this recipe! I had shrimp I wanted to cook today to go along with our Thanksgiving feast. I needed a recipe that didn’t require a lot of time. So glad I decided on this one. Super easy and the shrimp were delicious. I will definitely be trying out more of your recipes.
This looks amazing!
The shrimp were at hit in my house. Next time I may reduce the amount of oregano and basil. Other than that, they were yummy. I made them with a steamed veggie mixed and wild rice. Thumbs Up! Thank you. I am always looking for different ways to cook and season shrimp.
Qué cosas más ricas! quiero hacerlas todas…
Are the shrimp thawed or frozen when you bake them? I looked all in the recipe and read the comments looking for an answer. I have some frozen raw shrimp in the freezer.
The shrimp is thawed.
Love how easy this is! What a great party idea!
