Strawberry Pineapple Kale Smoothie
A power-packed, nutritious smoothie that doesn’t even taste healthy! An absolute must for your mornings!
I hope you all had a wonderful 3-day holiday weekend. My boys partied a little too hard so we are in full recovery mode with this power-packed smoothie.
It’s a green smoothie that doesn’t taste “green” at all, mixed in with a creamy strawberry layer. So if you have any doubts about this whole green smoothie trend, well, at least half of the smoothie will be on familiar grounds.
Either way, you’ll still love the green layer on top, sweetened with bananas and pineapple – a wonderful tropical kick to your busy mornings!

I want to love kale. I always adore the color it adds to those beautiful power-packed smoothies but I’ve never found a recipe I liked yet that contained it. When I got it in my CSA box this week I decided to try again with this recipe. I have FINALLY found the smoothie I love with this awesome veg. And my girls didn’t even realize they were eating it with this one. Win-Win! Thank You!!!
this smoothie sounds terrific! I was just wondering if you could leave out the apple juice or substitute something else? I’m trying to watch the extra calories from fruit juices.
Yes, absolutely. The apple juice just really provides added sweetness to the smoothie.
I just substituted water and crushed ice for the apple juice!
This is a perfect combination. I can’t wait to try this drink. It is so awesome when my family drink it in the morning. Thank you so much.
Why has the Pinterest link disappeared on your recipe pages? The only pin available is for your entire site, not individual recipes anymore.
Cathy, I am a little confused with your question as there is a pin it button on top of every recipe. You can also pin any image by hovering your mouse over the picture.
Mmm…this sounds like the perfect breakfast this summer! I love the two-toned color combo, too!
I would love to have a pretty breakfast like this right now! So pretty!
This is so cute! I’d be more than happy to wake up to this!
