One Pan Ranch Pork Chops and Veggies
The easiest 5-ingredient meal EVER! And yes, you just need one pan with 5 min prep. It’s quick, easy and effortless!
Yes. It’s the other white meat. Damn Delicious is taking a momentary break from all the chicken recipes and bringing out the pork goodness made on a single sheet pan.
And not only does this come together on a single pan with your desired veggies but you only need 5 ingredients! The main ingredient here is of course, the Ranch Seasoning and Salad Dressing Mix. If this product is not available in your country, there are many DIY recipes available online.
But for those of you who have access to this, I would stock up on this seasoning mix because you can really put this on anything and everything.
Now all you have to do here is sprinkle on that Ranch seasoning onto your pork chops, toss in your veggies, and pop it in the oven. That is it. Really. It’s just 5 ingredients, 5 min prep and one pan. Done.
One Pan Ranch Pork Chops and Veggies
Ingredients
- 4 8-ounce pork chops, bone-in, 3/4-inch to 1-inch thick
- 16 ounces baby red potatoes, halved
- 16 ounces green beans, trimmed
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 1-ounce package Ranch Seasoning and Salad Dressing Mix
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley leaves
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Lightly oil a baking sheet or coat with nonstick spray.
- Place pork chops, potatoes and green beans in a single layer onto the prepared baking sheet. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with Ranch Seasoning and garlic; season with salt and pepper, to taste.
- Place into oven and roast until the pork is completely cooked through, reaching an internal temperature of 140 degrees F, about 20-22 minutes.* Then broil for 2-3 minutes, or until caramelized and slightly charred.
- Serve immediately, garnished with parsley, if desired.

Unfortunately, my husband doesn’t care for pork (boo 🙁 ). Is it possible to modify this recipe with chicken thighs? Your thoughts are appreciated. Thank you!
I have it ready to go in the oven. I found it easier to split the ingredients on two pans.
And I mixed the ranch mix with the dried minced garlic and sprinkled over all.
Then I salt and peppered everything
Chungah, thank you for this recipe. I made it tonight for my mum (and dad) as an early Mother’s Day dinner.
Your recipe is genius: using ranch dressing mix on the pork chops is crazy, and utterly delicious. My parents (and I) were thrilled with the result. I would just offer a couple of caveats: 1) As someone else has noted on this page, the chops and veggies don’t fit in a single layer on most standard-sized sheet pans: I put the chops on top of the veggies. 2) Any home cook needs to learn how to tell when a dish is done (i.e. not raw). In my case, the chops took almost twice as long to cook properly than the recipe indicated. Maybe it’s because the chops were larger than specified, or my parents’ oven doesn’t heat to the proper temperature. After 25 min I moved the chops to a separate sheet tray on the very bottom oven rack. After the veggies were done, I removed them from the oven and placed them in covered dishes to keep warm. I didn’t have a proper thermometer at hand, so after another 10-15 minutes I used the old stick-the-point-of-a-knife-into-it method to determine if the chops were finished (just barely pink). Despite the added time, they were still juicy, and very tasty. I look forward to trying some of your other ‘one-pan’ meals! Keep up the good work!
This is seriously an amazing recipe!!! So simple and delicious! I will definitely be making it again!!
A extremely easy and delicious receipe……highly recommended!!!
Hello. I haven’t made this yet, but plan on making it tonight. Even though everyone says this is so easy to make, I’m somewhat confused on the directions. In the paragraph on this page that is just before the ingredients list, it says, “Just throw the ranch dressing mix on your porkchops and then THROW in your veggies…”. What I’m confused about it that in the actual recipe directions, it says put everything on the pan and drizzle with the olive oil, then sprinkle the ranch dressing and garlic, then the salt and pepper. So, do you put the ranch mix and the garlic and salt and pepper on EVERYTHING or the Ranch on just the porkchops and the rest of the stuff on everything? Thanks for clarifying for a not-so-good cook.
My second time cooking this I’ve already posted I’m not a real big recipe follower but I do know it just was in the oven for 22 minutes and it’s still not done so I put it back in one 450, it smells great though!!
I’m making this for a second time, it came out good the first time, but I’m confused about the direction to do in a single layer. It’s not possible, and I have a large pan.
In the midst of COVID-19 crisis, I’m having a work-from-home and get-dinner-ready-in-a-snap crisis of my own. Found this recipe and it truly is #DAMNDELICIOUS! The pork chops were juicy, carmelized to perfection, and so tasty. My veggies turned out great, too, I used carrots, broccoli, and potatoes. The broccoli suffered a bit under the broiler, so I’ll have to re-think that for next time as it was the only ‘green’ I had on hand that everyone agreed to. We’ll be enjoying this again….soon!
You could also cook the broccoli in a parchment pouch then take it out before you broil.
Easy and freaking BOMB
I used this recipe one night when I was looking for a way to use up some miscellaneous items in my kitchen. I had sweet potatoes so I used those instead, and onion soup mix in place of the ranch. It was DELICIOUS and I will definitely make it again!
Made this for my 5 kids tonight! Best pork chops ever! So easy and so delicious!
The flavor was good but the pork chops were so dry . Would covering them help ?
So easy to prep, cook, and clean up. I love the one pan meals. I used Yukon gold potatoes cut into 1/8ths, a handful of chopped up baby carrots and a bag of frozen green beans straight from the freezer. I added 10 minutes to the cook time because my potatoes were cut pretty large. This came out perfectly. Absolutely delicious!
Could I do a Pork Loin instead of Chops? Also can I use a Crockpot , would I need to put chicken broth in for some juice ??
What a great idea! But unfortunately, without having tried this ourselves, we cannot answer with certainty. But if you get a chance to try it, please let us know how it turns out! Good luck! 🙂
Could you use a pork loin with this recipe, as opposed to chops? thanks!

Would using boneless chops make a drastic difference. Accidentally reached for.the wrong value pack :/
I used boneless pork chops and it turned out good! Used frozen green beans and more garlic and that was fine. Will definitely make this again because it was so easy and I’m new to cooking.
After reading reviews I decided to buy the frozen home fries and used them with they cook up great with chops Yummy and I used frozen green beans so everything cooked evenly
Could I use broccoli, cauliflower, and carrots instead of the potatoes and green beans? And if so, should I adjust the cooking time or maybe add the veggies halfway through cooking?
Hi Brionda! Yes, you can definitely switch out the veggies to your liking. However, please use your best judgement when it comes to adjusting cooking times and other modifications as we haven’t tried this version of the recipe ourselves. Let us know how it goes!
Used 6 pork “end” chops about 1/2″ thick. I seasoned with salt, pepper & garlic salt, but the ranch seasoning packs a ton of flavor so that was probably unnecessary (will skip the “pre-season” the next time I make this). I also skipped the fresh garlic bc I was so tired and just wanted to get this meal done in a hurry. I didn’t have any green beans or potatoes (being Filipino, our go-to carb is white rice 4x a day so that was fine), and i decided to cook my asparagus separately. Baked the chops for about 25 mins (ended up a tad dry so will reduce to 20-22 mins next time) before throwing in the broiler for an additional 2 mins. (Note: don’t forget that when you remove your food from the oven it still cools a little bit more while it’s resting.) End result was beautiful color and an insanely flavorful pork chop! (Note: the single packet of ranch seasoning may seem excessive when your chops are covered with the white dust, but you will definitely want to use the entire packet to achieve the awesome taste!)
I got my pork chops from Aldies and had to cook everything twice as long-except for broiling. It tasted amazing!
