Strawberry Lemonade Smoothie
Sweet, tangy and wonderfully refreshing with just 4 ingredients, made completely from scratch. No frozen concentrate here!
Summer is quickly coming to a close but I could still sip on this strawberry lemonade smoothie all year long. And with frozen strawberries, you can really have this throughout the entire year.
Now what I really love about this recipe is the use of fresh lemonade. You can certainly use store-bought or even lemonade frozen concentrate if you’re short on time but I found these options to be overly sweet – so sweet, that it was just overwhelming at one point.
So homemade lemonade will really set this recipe apart. That and the vanilla yogurt to balance out that tartness in all of its creamy glory.
You can also use a mixture of different berries if you’d like. I love to throw in a few raspberries to get that extra blooming red color. Plus, a hint of raspberry goodness never killed anyone.

Taste just as good as buying a smoothie at a smoothie shop. Since I’m on The Plant Paradox diet, I switched the sugar to Organic Glandular Sweetener Stevia blend by Pyure and the yogurt to unsweetened yogurt Coconutmilk Yogurt Alternative by So Delicious Dairy Free. I was sweet and delicious. Could not tell it was sugar free. Will make again. Thanks for the recipe.
Add blueberries and u will love me
Very Good! Absolutely loved it!!
verrrryyyyy goooodddddd
Can you add more sugar to make a little sweeter
Sure!
Could you substitute the yogurt for milk? I know it would change the consitiancy and everything but I’m just curious 🙂
Yes, absolutely.
I am looking for glasses/plastic cups like the one in your picture for desserts for a wedding. Where did you get it?
It’s awesome.
Amazon.com.
To cut out the added sugar, I made this with Crystal Lite Strawberry Lemonade. Still very good!
Can you make the Lemonade mixture substituting Honey out for sugar? Just curious.
Yes, absolutely.
Why not produce a much more DIABETIC friendly version of this wonderful looking drink / dessert. It would benefit a lot more people than just Diabetics. This is an insidious disease that kills many people! You are helping people to injure & kill themselves! Or, do we just believe you are in the pay of the sugar companies?
Jus’ askin’ like….
According to the American Heart Association the daily allowance of sugar is 37.5 grams. This smoothie falls below that.
I don’t get why people have to bash other people’s life choices…..if you don’t like it, don’t make it. Really that simple.
Jus’ sayin’ like…….
Really, John? Get a life or troll elsewhere.
Use raw sugar instead and blueberries

Is this recipe for 1 serving? (Never made smoothies before, lol)
This recipe yields 4 servings.
Looks delicious, but I’m a bit confused. Maybe I missed something. You mention whisking in “simple syrup” in Step 2. How much? Is it the kind you use in drinks? Also – how much lemonade do you add in Step 3? I hope for a response, because I can’t wait to make this.
1. Simple syrup = please refer to step 1. This is made with 1/2 cup sugar and 1/2 cup water.
2. Lemonade = please refer to step 2. This is made with the simple syrup from step 1, 2/3 cup lemon juice and 1 1/2 cups water.
How did you get the color so intense? I made this the other day and it was super good, but WAY lighter pink. Just curious. 🙂
You can add a few raspberries to create a more intense red.
OMG! I love your recipe! I tried it and it was so good!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It’s a bit sour but overal ok
Perfect! And I have all those ingredients:)

It’s just after 5:00 AM and you can bet this will be in my blender by mid morning. It’s going to be another hot humid 85+ day. How refreshing and perfect will this taste? Simple enough and the few ingredients needed are waiting to be used. Ohh, no I haven’t had breakfast yet!!!
