Peanut Butter Pupcakes
Treat your pup with these dog-friendly cupcakes filled with pumpkin, applesauce and carrots topped with a peanut butter frosting!
Pupcakes!!!!!
I know.
These look dangerously human-friendly, no?
I mean, if it wasn’t for the Milk Bone garnish, you would never know.
My friend almost took a bite.
Until she saw the bone.
So I had to leave a note by the cupcakes.
A big giant sign.
“NOT FOR HUMANS” it said.
But Butters knew what was up.
He patiently did a pose.
Then devoured.
No wait.
I don’t even think I saw him chew.

For the frosting
- 4 ounces cream cheese, at room temperature

Thank you so much for this recipe. My English Bull dog’s Adoption day party is next weekend and this is exactly what I was looking for. I have all the ingredients and can’t wait to make this. I like the other poster’s idea of doing mini muffins since we have a lot of chihuahuas also participating in the event.
Made them for my Chihuahua’s birthday. These were really easy to make and my 2 Chihuahuas LOVED them! The birthday boy has gastrointestinal problems and I was so happy that these did not upset his stomach 🙂
Cant wait to try some of the other treats!
Thank you!
I love your blog for humans and dogs! My daughters and I made these pupcakes to celebrate our rescue pup’s first birthday, and our blind dog’s gotcha day, along with some friends’ pups birthdays. These were such a hit! We made small muffin size so they were bite-sized for the dogs and they were perfect! Thanks for sharing. Everyone was very impressed by this nice touch for our special babies!
do you think you can replace the pumpkin with mashed banana?
Yes!
