Quick Ramen Noodle Stir Fry
Fast, easy, and budget-friendly using ramen noodles and ground beef for an amazing, saucy stir fry the whole family will love!
You have no idea how much I love a good stir fry. It’s always so quick to whip up, and you can essentially use up anything and everything in your fridge – making it cheap and budget-friendly.
And that’s exactly what this is. It doesn’t require too many ingredients, and by using ground beef and instant ramen noodles, this dish can’t come together any quicker.
The noodles just need 3-4 minutes to get nice and tender while your ground beef gets that beautiful crumble before you stir in the sauciest of all sauces that require only a few pantry staples.
From there, you can stir in those softened ramen noodles to sop up all those saucy bits.
You’ll be amazed as to how quickly this really comes together – 30 minutes or less from start to finish. Not to mention how many requests you’ll get for seconds and thirds guaranteed!
Quick Ramen Noodle Stir Fry
Ingredients
- 2 3.5-ounce packages instant ramen noodles, flavor packets discarded
- ⅓ cup beef stock
- ¼ cup oyster sauce
- 1 tablespoon rice wine vinegar
- 1 teaspoon Sriracha, or more, to taste
- 1 tablespoon toasted sesame oil
- 1 pound lean ground beef
- 1 cup diced sweet onion
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon freshly grated ginger
- 2 green onions, thinly sliced
- ½ teaspoon toasted sesame seeds
Instructions
- In a large pot of boiling water, cook ramen noodles until tender, about 3-4 minutes; rinse with cold water and drain well.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together beef stock, oyster sauce, rice wine vinegar and Sriracha.
- Heat sesame oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add ground beef and onion, and cook until beef has browned, about 3-5 minutes, making sure to crumble the beef as it cooks; drain excess fat.
- Stir in garlic and ginger until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Stir in beef stock mixture, scraping any browned bits from the bottom of the skillet.
- Stir in ramen noodles until heated through and evenly coated in sauce, about 1-2 minutes.
- Serve immediately, garnished with green onions and sesame seeds, if desired.

This was SO good. Increased the ingredients by 50% for my family of four and could have doubled it. No leftovers. Did add a Tbsp of Sambal Olek, 2 c of chopped broccoli and a cup of grated carrot. Yummy!!’
This is easy and delicious, and I will definitely be making again. I didn’t have rice wine vinegar, so I replaced with apple cider vinegar.
This is really damn delicious!
I made this recipe just as it says but added all the packets with ramen. Also cooked 1 cup onions chopped 1 stalk of celery chopped 1 heaping teaspoon od chopped garlic. Once ramen is cooked in microwave I rinsed in cold water and drained well. In sesame oil i fried ramen then added veggies, liquid, chicken it was so good. Will definitely make again.
Fully in love with this recipe, and everyone who has tried it has asked for it, too! I usually double the recipe, triple the sauce, and add stir fried peppers, broccoli, and shiitake to make it a complete meal. I love to use dried shiitake so I can use the rehydration water in the recipe (chef’s kiss). If I have it, I top it off with Trader Joe’s chili onion crunch. Sooo good.
The recipe looks quite delicious, please add a video too it’ll help me a lot while preparing this. Thanks.
I don’t usually leave recipe reviews, but I had to for this one!
The highest food compliment in my house is when my husband has seconds. He had second and thirds!
This is so easy, so flavorful and reheats really well for lunch the next day.
Honestly, I would make it once a week but I don’t want my husband sick of it.
I didn’t use oyster sauce, I used soy sauce. Otherwise I pretty much followed it to the letter.
Delicious!
I wanted something quick and yummy and this was both of those things. I saw some other recipes using Ramen noodles like a chicken Ramen stir fry that I’m going to try.
This recipe is easy, so delicious and on repeat every week at my home!! Thank you!!!
I made this last night and it was very good. Even my picky eater liked it. I followed the recipe just as printed with 2 minor exceptions. I don’t do Sriracha so used some Mae Ploy sweet chili sauce along with a few drops of hot sauce in its place. And I added broccoli florets as called for in your chicken version of this recipe. I will be making this again. I think I might try Lo Mein noodles next time? Thanks for sharing an EZ and delicious recipe.
This turned out really good. Next time I will double the beef broth mixture and add a few more veggies.
Yes, we doubled the sauce but I only added the original half of it TO the noodles/beef mixture and saved the rest for people to add to individual servings. The one time I doubled the sauce and added it all to the mixture, it was far too salty and overdone. So, for us, doubling the sauce but divvying it up works GREAT. This is a fantastic dish and super-easy and fast. I use Ozzie plain Ramen Noodles that I score off of Amazon.
Another home run recipe! Loved it!! Doubled everything except the ground beef, and added sliced zucchini and baby bella mushrooms. I forgot the sesame seeds at the end, but it was still outstanding!
I have made this once a week for the last three months haha. I’m obsessed! I also sauté some mushrooms and add them in with the noodles at the end.
What could I use instead of oyster sauce?
Put some oysters in a juicer
LOL
Fish sauce preferably or soy sauce
This was delicious! Made it vegetarian by replacing the ground beef with meatless burgers crumbled. Added peppers + broccoli! This is going into regular meal rotation! Thanks!
So great! Used ground turkey instead of beef and added sliced red pepper and broccoli florets so we’d be getting our daily veggies…Fabulous taste! Never would have thought to do a stir fry with ground meat but this worked out great! Husband from the other room: “This is incredible; you have to make this a part of the rotation!”. Thanks for a fabulous recipe .
Oh, I love ramen noodles! I’ll certainly try this one very soon. Thank you so much for sharing.
This is super delicious thanks for providing this receipe. Made it for lunch with a few added veggies for crunch and can safely say this is going to be added to my rotation of super good things.
Thanks again!
Very good. I add small mixed veggies or chopped up broccoli to get some extra vitamins. I’ve also made it with ground chicken and chicken broth instead.
Wow, tried it today and everyone in the family totally loved it. Added some crushed chilli as we love spice and the flavour was amazing
