Do you think your waffle sandwiches would grill on a George Foreman grill as well as a waffle iron?
What a great idea! But unfortunately, without having tried this myself, I cannot answer with certainty. As always, please use your best judgment when making substitutions and modifications.
very nice recipe
Yummmmmy! Are you using a regular waffle iron or a Belgian waffle iron when you make your wafflewiches?
Belgian!
love the use of the waffle iron for mashing all these flavors together, also nice touch using whole wheat bread here, that much less guilt involved and really really looks like you won’t be able to taste the difference!, thanks again for a lovely recipe
p.s. unless I’ve missed it, any thoughts to using your waffle iron to make a monte cristo sandwich?
Genius idea!
Yum! We’re having chicken parm for dinner tonight! We should make this instead!

Yummmmmy! Are you using a regular waffle iron or a Belgian waffle iron when you make your wafflewiches?
I am using a Belgian waffle iron.
Looks so delicious! Do you put butter or olive oil or anything on the side of the bread that comes into contact with the waffle iron? I’m wondering if that would be needed for browning?
Nonstick spray should do the trick!
Yes!! I can’t live without my waffle maker too.
This grilled cheese looks amazing 🙂
