Berry Green Smoothie
Make-ahead freezer friendly smoothies that are healthy, nutritious and so refreshing for your mornings!
Ever since I started to work from home, I need every excuse to get out of the house into the real world. That’s when I started to walk down the street to Starbucks and the donut store for a morning treat before I start my work day. But obviously the donut calories are not doing me any kind of justice. So with bikini season right around the corner, I decided to change up my morning routine with a healthy green smoothie.
But instead of having a green-green smoothie, I decided to throw in some frozen berries that I had on hand. Now I love all kinds of berries but I’ve found that blueberries and raspberries make a great flavor combo. Plus, you’ll get that extra antioxidant boost! From there, I also added in a banana for some natural sweetness and old fashioned oats to keep you nice and full until lunch time.
You can also freeze individual smoothie packs in a Ziploc bag using your favorite combination of fruits. You can have a different smoothie every day, and it doesn’t get easier than throwing everything straight from the Ziploc bag to the blender! There’s absolutely no thawing needed. All you need to is add your milk and oats when you’re ready to blend. Super easy, right?

This looks delish! Great idea to ziploc the contents…makes for a fast getaway in the am. If I only had a super cool blender to put it in…
I’ve been afraid to try something like this. However, your photos are so lovely and so appetizing, that I think I could make this and love it. It’s worth a try. THANK YOU!
Sounds great, I would try this recipe first chance i get
I would make a smoothie or a frozen coffee!
I’d probably go for a smoothie similar to the one you shared–blueberry heavy, maybe with some added lemon.
This looks great! I’ve never thought to put blueberries in a green smoothie.
Strawberry banana sounss good
I would have to make smoothies for my daughter. She would love one every day.
I would make homemade frozen hot chocolate!
This looks sooo yummy.
I too love to make a fruit smoothie everyday, and it would be nice to have a better blender that get those pesky raspberry seeds! I usually have one with a banana, spinach, frozen peaches, coconut oil, strawberries & pineapple.
I’ve been wanting to get a blender for awhile now! would love to win this one so I can make smoothies! I have a potassium deficiency and have been trying to find different ways to add potassium rich foods to my diet
What a great idea this is! And thanks so much for the chance!
Green smoothie!

This looks delicious and putting them together and freezing will help with those early morning wake ups! Thanks!
I’ve never added sugar to a smoothie. I might have to try that.
I totally need to try this.
I’d make a fresh berry smoothie to enjoy on my patio because I have faith that spring will soon be here!
Now that spring and summer are near, I want to start making smoothies. I love fruit, but definitely need more veggies, and I think smoothies are the way I’ll do it. I would love this blender! Moving into a new apartment in June and I certainly would love to add this to the new kitchen!
