Churro French Toast
The most amazing, most buttery French toast you will ever have, coated in cinnamon sugar and drizzled with an epic cream cheese glaze!
This may just be the best French toast in the entire world. No joke.
After all, you can’t possibly beat a buttery French toast dish using sweet Hawaiian bread slices and then coating these bad boys in cinnamon sugar. There’s just too much goodness happening here.
And you can’t forget about that cream cheese glaze. The glaze that’s so good, you’ll start guzzling it down with a spoon.
But don’t eat too much of the glaze – you’ll need it for your French toast because it’s a million times better than maple syrup.

This french toast is so genius and decadent. Now this is breakfast!
Hi…Great looking recipe. I just want to clarify before I make a big mess, you sprinkle each side with the cinnamon sugar after you cook it not before ??? Thanks
Yes, that’s exactly right.
Our local grocery store does not sell the King Hawaiian bread but does sell the round bread. If I had them slice a loaf of the round bread would it still work for this recipe? Thanks.
Yes, that should work just fine.
I luv churros…the best part is how crunchy they are from the cinnamon and sugar coating this french toast looks like it hits all those bells and whistles.
This sounds fabulous…but can you please give a description of the Hawaiian bread…..I’m in Australia & have never seen this. I’m hoping to find something similar. Many thanks. Loving your recipes!!
Sandra, here is their website for more info: http://www.kingshawaiian.com/.
They don’t sell it in Canada either so I googled recipes for Sweet Hawaiian Bread.
I just had breakfast, but now I realise I made the wrong thing. Look at that stack of epic proportions! Have to make these 😀 x
Breakfast food is my weakness…and this looks like absolute perfection! That cream cheese glaze would no doubt go straight to my mouth with a spoon. Pinning this!
