Baked Lemon Butter Tilapia
The easiest, most effortless 20 min meal ever from start to finish. And it’s all made in a single pan. Win-win situation here.
Okay, guys. I figured we all needed a little bit of a chicken thigh break.
I clearly love to create a new chicken thigh recipe once a week but we were due for a change. But still, we’re keeping the basics down with the whole lemon-garlic-butter situation.
Because let’s face it. We don’t want to mess with that combination.
So that’s exactly what’s happening here. We’re using budget-friendly tilapia, which cooks in just 10 minutes, drizzled with that butter sauce. It goes right in the oven from start to finish, making your life just that much easier.
You can thank me later.

First time making it and my family loved it.
I will add a little more salt or garlic salt. It was so easy. Can’t wait to make it again. Thank you for sharing.
Delicious with a nice salad!!
very nice
Made this recipe tonight it was very good.
The only thing I did differently was to add shallots and fresh dill.
Definitely will make it again.
Great recipe. I have made it 3 times, once for 40 people and it was delish!! So easy, you can’t go wrong with this one. I have modified it a bit. I use more garlic, I love garlic. I have used roasted garlic too. I also have added capers for a pop of color or some lemon thyme. It’s always the best was to cook this boring fish.
Simply delicious
My husband loved it n so did I !! I asked him if this was a yay n he said definitely !! Thank you for this recipe !!
Quickest fish recipe. Tasty too
This is my second time making this I did substitute a little but it is amazing thank you

This has been the most requested fish recipe from my family. I made it once and now they can’t get enough. It’s easy, it’s super tasty, and it’s quick. And the best part……the sound they make with every bite . Thank you for sharing your recipe, my family loves fish just that much more
Very good. The only thing I would do different is some lemon pepper seasoning
Will fix again. I have arthritis in both hands, soI had to use lemon juice not from Concentrate. I had to put my oven on broiler for a few minutes.
I have been using this recipe the last few times I have made tilapia, and it is soooo good! Definitely would recommend this! The only thing I would change is more lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
Simple and delicious. I used a mix of olive oil and butter and was very generous with the spices. I also added basil because I love it.
So quick and easy to make AND delicious!
I have never had or fixed Tilapia.
With the pandemic, I have had to get creative. The recipe was delicious and the Tilapia was very sweet and no bones.
Only one suggestion! Cook on aliminium foil.
Thanks for being there for me!!
My sister and I made this recipe for dinner today. It was so delicious! The lemon butter flavor on top, definitely gave the fish tilapia a lot of flavor. My family loved it! Thanks for the recipe!
This may be my fav recipe from you yet! Super easy to alter for a serving for one and I used an Emile Henry au gratin dish for single serving to bake it. I also tried it with olive oil with just a bit of butter for flavor (that nasty cholesterol thing…and I’m someone who will no doubt be buried with a pound of butter – I love it that much!) either way it turned out superb. Love the fact this can be downsized easily as I’m sure you have many other followers that are seniors like me cooking for one now!
Great recipe. Less than 10 minutes to prepare, less than 20 minutes in oven. And delicious fish! The only time consuming thing was taking the tilapia out of the freezer and defrosting them in a bowl of cold water for 2 hours. Thanks!
I tried it last night. Very easy to make. A complete success! Everybody had seconds.
