Is the stevia 1/4 cup of the powder stevia? Have you ever tried this recipe with almond flour?
I’ve been trying to lower my added sugar intake so I’m really glad I found this recipe right after I bought a bag of stevia! I impulse made them last night and since I didn’t wanna run to the store for eggs, I replaced them with ground chia seeds mixed with water and they came out great! This recipe could easily be vegan with some vegan chocolate chip alternative!
Hi, I came upon your site today looking for a recipe (for greek menus).
First, Congratulations on your wedding!
Second, I’m excited to follow your site for recipes, I’ve browsed and they look quite yum (other than Bobby Flay- my go to ).
Third, so I’m curious- are you doing this full time? or did you become a lawyer or doctor or engineer…? 😉
Last, I dont use Stevia, and i also dont like too much sugar(i dont take sugar, actually…), so whats the best sugar equivalent (I have organic crystals)/ amount to make for the family? This will be my first banana muffin try!
Thank you, Amar
These look absolutely delicious! Do you think it would work if I baked as a loaf instead of muffins?
I’ve noticed you always keep the dry and the moist mixtures separates before mixing all together. Can I use a food processor the mixture everything? My muffins usually grow in the oven but when they cool down they “implode”… Thanks for the help 🙂
Use any specific Brand of Chocolate Chips?
Thanks for this awesome recipe!! YUMMMMM. 🙂 I shared it on my blog as well because I loved it so much. Was a great option when I hosted brunch and wanted to provide something tasty but also healthy! It’s very hard not to eat more than one though. hahaha
These look so delicious! I love chocolate banana muffins, and have to try your version ♥
I tried this recipe today and the muffins are so yummy and moist..I did replaced the stevia with the 1 cup of sugar though and skipped the nutmeg coz they were a bit pricey here but they still tasted so good..
Actually I came across your site while I was looking for recipes for shrimps and I loved it..
Thank you for the recipe.
If I replaced sugar with the stevia would it be the same amount?
The ratio for stevia to sugar is 1:2. Hope that helps!
Can you use all purpose flour in replacement of white whole wheat? If so, would amount change?
Yes, you can use all-purpose flour. The amount will not change.
Banana chocolate chip is the best combination!
Wow — looks so delicious!!!
Oh… those look tasty and moist. I love how the chocolate chips look half melted in there.
