ABOUT CHUNGAH

I am the founder, creator, food photographer and recipe developer of Damn Delicious®, a website established in 2011. What started as a grad school hobby using a simple Tumblr account has transformed into my full-time job and business, connecting with millions of readers all over the world with recipes that are regularly featured in major media such as People, TODAY, and Bon Appetit, among many others.

Moving away from sunny Los Angeles, I now reside in the Midwest with my family and corgi crew, cheering on the Los Angeles Dodgers.

Why use Damn Delicious® recipes

  • Trusted recipes. With thousands of recipes to choose from, I work with a team of women to test and re-test each and every single recipe to ensure that it comes out successfully in your kitchen (along with hundreds of five star reviews from fellow readers), whether you’re a seasoned chef or a first time cook in your college apartment.
  • Focusing on quick and easy. Here at Damn Delicious®, we focus on quick, easy, and effortless dinners for the everyday home cook to show you that it doesn’t take much to make a homemade meal, especially during those busy weeknights between school pick-up and soccer practice.
  • Easy to find ingredients. The recipes you find here require minimal prep and feature easy-to-find ingredients, making them no-fuss, affordable, and speedy. We’re talking minimal clean up, versatile pantry staples, one pan dinners, and budget-friendly meals with bold flavors for the entire family or weekend company.
  • Tips, tricks, tutorials, and videos. Each recipe will feature helpful tips, tricks, smart shortcuts, and step-by-step videos setting you up for complete success in your kitchen every single time.

  6. Hi Chungah,

Just stumbled across your website! So inspiring and such great everyday easy recipes that I love. As a lover of food, fitness and nutrition I find it great how you use your company to reach others in an easy and visual way. People love seeing how things are made and how they look through simple videos, pictures and not just the recipe alone.

    From an inspired Canadian fan,
    Holly:)

  9. Suggestion – an easy way to shred the pork if you have a Kitchen-Aid mixer, use the “beaterblade” attachment for about 1.5-2 minutes, you’ll have everything shredded in an instant!

  10. Damned delicious is the best! I am so happy that Chungah Rhee has made a great site with tested recipes. I cannot sing anymore praises for how well each recipe turns out, from the IP or soup they are all excellent.

  11. I would like to try the pasta with mushroom and zuccchini recipe.
However I am one person. I know I can reduce all the items to a lesser amount 1 zucchini, less mushrooms etc. How about he water? Is that amount the same if you are cooking 1/4 of pasta?
Thanks would really like to try.

    • What a great idea! But unfortunately, without having tried this myself, I cannot answer with certainty. As always, please use your best judgment when making substitutions and modifications.
