Raspberry Sunrise Smoothie
4-ingredient raspberry mango smoothie – so easy and amazingly refreshing!
I’ve made at least 10 different smoothie variations in the last 2 weeks but this raspberry mango smoothie has to be my absolute favorite. Plus, it’s so fun to look at! And the best part about this smoothie is that you only need 4 ingredients – raspberries, mango, milk and orange juice. That is it.
Now the raspberry portion doesn’t have a sweetener, but once you swirl in that sweet mango goodness, the balance of sweetness is absolute perfection. It’s not overly sweet but just enough to get your morning going.
And if you’re not into smoothies for breakfast, these go perfectly as a post-workout drink or midnight snack. Midnight smoothies sound a bit unconventional but at least you’re cutting down on those midnight brownies and cookies. Or is that just me?
Raspberry Sunrise Smoothie
Ingredients
- 1 ½ cups frozen raspberries
- ⅔ cup milk
- 1 ½ cups frozen mango chunks
- ⅔ cup orange juice
Instructions
- Combine raspberries, milk and 1/2 cup ice in blender until smooth; set aside.
- Combine mango, orange juice and 1/2 cup ice in blender until smooth; set aside.
- Serve raspberry mixture immediately, topped with mango mixture.

Oh Boy! This Smoothie looks like something you would serve at a party, yet it is so simple and easy to make! Did I mention that it tastes amazing! One tip, if you add honey to the raspberry and used freshly squeezed orange juice for the mango, it takes it to a whole other level.
I made this with blueberry and a raspberry and guava mix, and it was delicious. it’s even better when it’s frozen and turned into a sorbet.
Does it matter what type of milk you use (semi-skimmed, whole, skimmed etc)? This recipe sounds amazing, can’t wait to make it!
Whichever you prefer!
Looks really delicious. Can’t wait to try it. One question though.am I reading the nutritional chart right. 72 grams of sugar! Please et back to me if you can because I do weight watchers and have to put sugar amount in my numbers.

Perfect smoothie for me 🙂
I love this recipe and that’s saying a lot because I’m not a fan of mangoes (but definitely becoming one)! Instead of splitting the two fruits, I mixed the whole batch together and it comes out a pretty grapefruit pink color. I also used Almond milk and this particular morning the smoothie tastes like a gummy bear. Thank you!!!
What kind of orange juice did you use?
What types of orange juices are you thinking of?
Sunny delightt,Tropicana, no sugar added? fresh orange juice?
You can use any of them really – it’s up to you!
This looks AMAZING! But I don’t have OJ what could I use as a substitute? Thanks!
Pineapple juice would be a great substitute.
Haha this is now going to be included with my assignment for home economics I was planning a mango one but this looks better and sounds yummier so it’s in!
I am allergic tk most tropical fruits , latex allergy. The mango makes it beautful but what can I sustitute for mango?
Peaches would be a great substitute.
You say “frozen” mango….what do u mean by that? Did you cut up an actual mango and then freeze it?? Since the recipe also calls for ice, is it ok to just use fresh, non-frozen mango?? Thanks!!
Lisa, yes, you can certainly use fresh mango but you can also purchase frozen chunks of mango in the freezer aisle of your local grocery store – it’s a huge time saver, and it’s cheaper too!
I made it and it was delicious!

Love the flavours but, I’m a diabetic and 86 carbs is more than a meal for me.
that look delicious! thanks for the recipe
Hi! This smoothie was beyond amazing! Loved it. However, everytime I try the two time effect, my mango just drops into the raspberry part. Any idea what I may be doing wrong or how I can fix it?
You can try making the smoothies into a thicker consistency so that they can layer a little bit better.
yuuummmmm!

Hello! your blog is so interesting and cute :). I have a question, since I am from Venezuela, it is so difficult for me to get the raspberries (mango isn’t a problem obviously, haha). In this case, maybe I could use blackberries or strawberries? Would it be good?
Strawberries would be a great substitute.
What a beautiful presentation, really eye catching!
I love the multi-layer effect you have going here! Gorgeous and I already know it’s going to be delicious! Pinned! 🙂
Would coconut or almond milk work instead of dairy milk? Pretty sure they would but just thought i would ask.
I actually haven’t tried using either types of milk but I don’t see why it wouldn’t work!
What would you use instead of orange juice? I can’t have it. Maybe apple juice?
You can try pineapple juice. I worry that the apple juice may adjust the color a bit.
This looks so amazing! ♥
How gorgeous and colorful!!
What a beautiful representation of this smoothie, it looks delicious.. in fact, I may have to go and make one! Thanks for the great idea on flavour combinations!
What a beautiful looking smoothie! It looks like it belongs under a cabana by a giant swimming pool.
Looks like the perfect spring time smoothie! I love the flavor combo. Pinned! 🙂

I’m seriously craving a smoothie right now and looking at this one just makes me want to run out to the store and grab the ingredients for it! I love the two-tone color in the glass!
I love sunrise smoothies with the beautiful two toned color! I’ve never made them at home before, but I’ll have to give it a whirl!
Beautiful, sounds easy, AND the fact that you don’t use yogurt….YEAAAAA. I love yogurt and I love smoothies but not mixed together. For some reason the mixture is YUCK, to me. This smoothie is perfection in my opinion.
Hi, I made the mango smoothie and it was delicious , however I poured the o.j on top of the drink , so It would at least look like the drink that was made by damn delicious .com and it did. I used almond milk , the change was good for my tummy
Haha, this is fun to look at. 🙂 Love these flavors together!
Oh wow, that is one stunningly beautiful smoothie, and I bet it tastes as good as it looks! It really does remind me of a sunrise 🙂
I love smoothies! Since I bought my awesome blender for the family for Christmas, I have a daily smoothie for breakfast — and have lost a good 15 pounds as well! That said – I love this recipe you have posted! I like that it is simple and healthy. Yeah, I might slip in a little bit of greens which might not make it as pretty.. but that’s the beauty of these blended concoctions – so healthy and versatile! Can’t wait to get my hands on some fresh mango and berries!
Why hello gorgeous smoothie. Get in my glass!
My fave combo is mango and berries! The layering of drinks are making smoothies so fun, simple is the best.
Wow! Such beautiful colors – love it! Gotta give this a try soon. Yummy 🙂
Mmmmmmango and raspberries, delicious 😀 Smoothies don’t have to be more complicated than that 😀 x
I kid you not, I have something in the oven right now!!! with peaches + raspberries. And I know we talked last week about the sunrise cocktails. I switched that to another one. But I had more peaches to use, so am baking with them…right now! But I could just have made this! Looks sooo good!
This is the prettiest smoothie, I love the layers!
