About Damn Delicious®
Damn Delicious® was simply a hobby, but now it’s my full-time job.
Coming from a very traditional Korean household, I was destined to be one of three things: a lawyer, a dentist or a doctor. So as a grad school hobby, I created a Tumblr account in April 2011 to document some of my favorite recipes. I had one reader, making less than $0.30 per month.
But 14 years later, Damn Delicious® has grown into something that I never thought possible. I have connected with readers all over the world, conquered so many culinary feats in my kitchen, and collaborated with brands that I always dreamed to work with.
Damn Delicious has even grown into an amazing team of individuals working together to create the best possible recipes. We create recipes, step-by-step tutorials, and videos that focus on quick and easy meals for the everyday home cook to show you that it really doesn’t take much to make a homemade meal completely from scratch.
Damn Delicious® is a registered trademark of Chungah Rhee.

Hi Stephanie, you could link back to our recipe, but you can’t republish the full recipe on your site if that makes sense?
I’ve made many of your recipes and especially enjoy doing the ones on the grill. We enjoy outdoor cooking all year here in Kentucky and even grilling in the snow! There’s something special about food cooked over coals!
Hi I was looking at your recipe and then I see your adorable and handsome Butters . Love your recipes and corgis.
We have one too Ripley the fluffy corgi.
Great seeing Butters on your page.
You are my absolute favorite food blog. All your recipies have been delicious! If I need an idea for dinner or want to look for a recipe I always check your blog first. Thank you!!!
I’m really digging the new site. I cook something from the amazing list at least once every other week, which I’ve been doing for the past year and a half. Thank You so much for this. When I can’t figure out what to eat, I just come here cause I know it’ll be “Damn Delicious!”
Love the 1 pot Baked Ziti ❤️

Butters says he resents that lol. Love the new website. Love the recipes. Love pictures of Butters. Thanks for working so hard to keep us all looking like chefs in our own kitchens. Keep up the good work!

Your recipes are the best-delicious and easy
Love the recipes. Keep doing what you love! I also love the dog! I have a bulldog named matilda
I love the new theme, it matches your personality! I think one of my favorites and also the first recipe I tried from your website was the honey walnut shrimp recipe. I highly recommend it.
I consider your chicken recipes TDF (to die for)! I have used so many of them!
안녕하세요! 만나서 반갑습니다.
Let me first start of saying
I spent well over a month driving around Korea and spending time in Seoul. I have never, in all my travels, met a kinder, more considerate and thoughtful people than the Koreans I met all over the country. Whenever I was lost which was often, they put themselves out to help me. When I was hungry, they freely offered food. When I was getting wet in the rain, they gave me an umbrella. And the friendship they offered this oblivious stranger is incomparable. So, as you can tell, I’m a big fan of Korean recipes, cooking and its hospitable culture. Except for some of the modern, very sweet recipes, Korean dishes are extremely healthy, nutritious and aid the body’s digestion. I’m always on searching for easy Korean recipes that emulate traditional Korean flavors, using traditional herbs, spices, sweeteners, and other ingredients while being easy to create. Thus far, I enjoy your easy recipes that are based on traditional Koreans dishes.
Thank you Valerie! We appreciate it.
I love making your recipes particularly for Sunday dinners when my extended family is at my house for dinner. I have a request. I am on Weight Watchers and I need to count my points which means I need to know the calories, saturated fats, protein, etc. sometimes you have the information following your recipes and sometimes you don’t.
Is it possible to be consistent with the nutrition chart with each recipe you post.
Hi Vanessa! Nutritional information is provided only for select and some new recipes at this time. However, if it is not available for a specific recipe, we recommend using free online resources at your discretion (you can Google “nutritional calculator”) to obtain such information. Hope that helps!
I love your site and recommend it to everyone. The food is always delish and my family loves to pretty much everything (especially the Asian inspired stuff). Thanks for the site; it’s my go-to for my family. And the fact that the ingredients are stuff I already have and the directions are simple helps too. But they’re also so tasty!
Thank you for the compliment and for sharing with your friends! We appreciate it.
I just love your website, layout and, of course, the recipes. The recipes are delicious!!!! I love the way you nestle in “my other recipes”. That catches my eye. The print button works well. Good Asian recipes are difficult to find. Your pictures of the foods look delectable. Good illustration!! I like the way you show how to make your dishes.
Overall, good job!! Keep it up.
It is unfortunate, however, that Google allows so many popups.
I came across your wonderful website looking for a good Chili’s copycat Cajun Chicken Pasta recipe. I will be making it tonight – Can’t wait !
One question – I’d love to train in culinary arts, but cooking schools can be so expensive. Do you have any recommendations for culinary training in the LA/OC area ? Thanks and looking forward to your recipe updates ! Go Dodgers Dogs !
Go Dodgers! Unfortunately, I did not attend any culinary schools as I am a self-taught home cook. Sorry! I wish I could be more help!
I have a white and orange fluffy cat named Butters! Never heard of another pet named butters. Also the instant pot beef stew was lovely. Thank you!
Aw, that’s so cute! And so glad to hear the stew came out so great!
Chungah, I Love-Love-Love your recipes. Oh, and you’re well presented yourself. Keep those great recipes coming. Thanks. Dave
I like to search for recipes that contain the food I have on-hand. I scroll through until I find one that looks good, print it, and make it. I have definitely noticed that the majority of the recipes I have selected come from damndelicious. I figured it was time to get intentional and get on your mailing list. Thanks for putting together this wonderful resource!
Welcome to the blog, Mollie 🙂 We are happy to have you! We hope you enjoy lots of new recipes!
