About Damn Delicious®
Damn Delicious® was simply a hobby, but now it’s my full-time job.
Coming from a very traditional Korean household, I was destined to be one of three things: a lawyer, a dentist or a doctor. So as a grad school hobby, I created a Tumblr account in April 2011 to document some of my favorite recipes. I had one reader, making less than $0.30 per month.
But 14 years later, Damn Delicious® has grown into something that I never thought possible. I have connected with readers all over the world, conquered so many culinary feats in my kitchen, and collaborated with brands that I always dreamed to work with.
Damn Delicious has even grown into an amazing team of individuals working together to create the best possible recipes. We create recipes, step-by-step tutorials, and videos that focus on quick and easy meals for the everyday home cook to show you that it really doesn’t take much to make a homemade meal completely from scratch.
Damn Delicious® is a registered trademark of Chungah Rhee.

My daughter who is a fantastic cook introduced me to your website. I love your recipes because they are quick, easy to fix and usually with ingredients I have or can get in our rural area! They always taste amazing and I rarely change anything, which is unusual for me! Whether I am looking for something special or just for my husband and myself, I can always count on your site to give me a good suggestion. Please keep up the good work and keep adding those recipes!!! They are absolutely amazing and definitely Damn Delicious!!!
Hi CHUNGAH,
I just came across your Damn Delicious recipes, while looking for a different recipe for dinner tonight. My husband and I are retired. We were in the restaurant business for thirty five years. He was just commenting yesterday for me to prepare some different recipes. I am anxious to try some of the recipes that many have mentioned in their e-mails. I will also order your new cookbook. I salute you for writing a cookbook, this is something I have wanted to do for years and I have always been working. Now that I have retired I need to get going. Keep up the great job!!
I love your site and make your recipes regularly. One of my resolutions for 2018 is to start using a meal planner in a consistent basis. Are your recipes connected to any of the meal planning apps out there, and if so, which ones? If not, are there any meal apps that you recommend? I’m trying out a few and am inputting my favourite recipes (yours!) by hand, but is there something out there to make it easier! Regardless, if I need to do it by hand I will, ad your recipes are always my go-to recipes for something fast, easy and delicious.
Unfortunately, I am not familiar with any meal apps at this time. Sorry!
It’s easy. Select your recipe, click on “Print”, then instead of printing, highlight the recipe, copy it and then paste it into your word processing document then tweak the alignment, font, size, etc….. After doing a few hundred, you’ll get really fast.
If there’s SHTML frames around the text portion (drives me nuts), paste the text portion into a notepad. That will strip off all the formatting. Then copy and paste that into your word processing document and do as above.
A convention I established with all my thousands of recipes, is immediately under the recipe’s title in the word document, I copy and paste in the URL so I don’t have to wonder where I got the recipe. When you hit return, it will create an underlined, blue hyperlink to the site so all you have to do is hover over the link, hold control and then left click to go to the page.
After that, I then copy and paste in the photo so I can see how it’s supposed to present. Hope this gives you an idea. Happy cooking…… Dave
Hi Chungah,
I’m so sorry that I have never left a message before regarding your recipes, especially since I have

I just tried your recipe for Sheet Pan Shrimp Boil! Phenomenal! So easy and so tasty. Everything was so easy to follow, and it came out better than expected. You have a new fan! Thank you Chungah! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
I found your Damn Delicious beef stew recipe on Facebook. I am a 68 year old, single man and it was very easy to make and was an instant favorite!! I shared you recipe with friends and they all love it too. I am going to try more of your recipes now and get out of my rut of cooking the same things week after week. BUT!! I am going to make you beef stew again this weekend for New Years 2018… You are beautiful and your recipes are delightful and easy. Thank you for saving my palatee…
Hi Chungah, I stumbled across this website a few months back, and am sure glad I did. My husband and I are empty nesters and I had become so tired of cooking especially just for the two of us. We were eating out more and more which has not been good for our waistline or wallets, but since finding your site I feel a surge of renewed interest and enthusiasm for cooking. Your recipes are so easy to follow and are so-well- damn delicious! For the first time I have been able to make an Asian dish that tastes as good as take-out. I even spent part of my quiet Christmas morning making Teriyaki sauce, just for fun! Thank you, Chungah, and God Bless You and yours.
so glad I found your site! Your recipes are amazing and I’m ordering your cookbook 🙂
I’m so glad I found your website. I just stumbled upon it. Last night I made the Slow Cooker Chicken and Corn Chowder and oh my goodness, it was delicious! I love soups and I love cooking with my crockpot. I see so many crockpot soups on your website that I can’t wait to try. Thanks so much!
i don’t even remember how i found your site — i’ve been on it for years, though, and it IS damn delicious! i have one question — did you name Butters after the South Park character?
We LOVE Butters and Sam! We watch all of your stories on Instagram because my daughter loves to catch a glimpse of them. Oh! And we love your recipes too! Great stuff!
Hey there, ,
Your recipes look amazing. I’m wodering what cheese I could use instead of goat cheese in the cobb salad. I have to stay away from soft cheeses as I am lactose intolerant. Also not keen on Apple cider vinegar for the poppy seed dressing. What could I use instead?
Unfortunately, without further recipe testing, I cannot answer with certainty. As always, please use your best judgment regarding substitutions and modifications. Sorry, Linda!
Hello Chungah. While I thoroughly enjoy your delicious recipes, I hope you do not mind for me to say the following. What I find most “Damn Delicious” here – is you! Thank you.
you have described it well. Your recipes look amazing. I just subscribed to you can’t wait to try some
I’ve never been much of a cook and I can never think of what to make for supper, coming across this site was a miracle for me! All of the recipes look so good & easy to make, I already have a list of the ones I want to try out!
Thanks for all your hard work on this site, I really look forward to doing a lot more cooking & becoming more comfortable in the kitchen. 🙂
Hi Chungah,
Asian cooking takes a lot of time over the wok. I don’t like to sweat over the fire in the hot kitchen. I live near the Equator. Your baked recipes with fast frying are ideal. I shall try a few of them with my new small toaster oven, capable of making small meals. Thanks for your recipes and the great ideas.
Love your recipe site. Please add me to your mailing list.
Hi Rosemary, thank you for your comment. Be sure to subscribe to the mailing list by entering your email on our homepage. Thank you!
Hey, Chungah! Just had to say that you are a huge inspiration! Love your blog!
