About Damn Delicious®

Damn Delicious® was simply a hobby, but now it’s my full-time job.

Coming from a very traditional Korean household, I was destined to be one of three things: a lawyer, a dentist or a doctor. So as a grad school hobby, I created a Tumblr account in April 2011 to document some of my favorite recipes. I had one reader, making less than $0.30 per month.

But 14 years later, Damn Delicious® has grown into something that I never thought possible. I have connected with readers all over the world, conquered so many culinary feats in my kitchen, and collaborated with brands that I always dreamed to work with.

Damn Delicious has even grown into an amazing team of individuals working together to create the best possible recipes. We create recipes, step-by-step tutorials, and videos that focus on quick and easy meals for the everyday home cook to show you that it really doesn’t take much to make a homemade meal completely from scratch.

Damn Delicious® is a registered trademark of Chungah Rhee.

  1. I have been using your recipes for so long and love all of them! I never realized that you are American Korean! I am obsessed with all things Korean LOL.
Thanks for all your amazing recipes! Love the dogs 🙂

  2. I don’t know you two but I love you both and your puppy dogs too. You both radiate inner warmth with your beautiful smiles. I’m looking forward to interaction with Damn Delicious for years to come.
    With warm regards,

  3. I just read your profile about you. Chungah, thank you for your amazing recipes. I’m a traveling phlebotomist who stays in hotels for months and eating out can get expensive so I’ve been making some of your meals in the hotel while using the top of the stove that has 2 islands… Again thank you so much.

  4. I found your website while searching for homemade dog food and have been happily cooking for our puppy ever since, thank you.
A while later, I realised that you have a “Butters.” Our golden retriever was also Butters and over his 13 years, other than friends, only around 3 people made the Southpark connection! Favourite character, suits your corgi just as it did our retriever ☺️

  5. your story makes me smile, as well as you, your husband and your corgis:). I was looking for a lo mein recipe after being disappointed by what I had in a restaurant. Of course, I usually say I could make it so much better at home. so now I am looking forward to trying your recipe. But looking thru the other comments I need to keep looking at what else you have. So exciting to try new recipes! Thank you!

  6. Yours is one of my favorite go-to sites for IP recipes, and I have only one other go-to site! I’m very picky.

  7. I am glad I found this cooking treasure called Damn Delicious! The recipes look great. I am a pet sitter, so I love dogs…I never had one growing up! So when I work with dogs, I am in Heaven. Your Corgis are precious. Busy most days of the week, when I come home, I am tired…so I don’t cook any supper for myself. But now that I have this site to follow, I will give cooking more of a try. Thank you, Chungah 🙂 <3

  8. I want to make your spinach mushroom lasagna. I need to make it gf and can only find no-bake gf lasagna noodles. Will no-bake noodles work with your recipe?  Thank you for your help!!!

  9. OMG! New to your website. My wife and I were looking for some recipes for a wine tasting we were hosting. Such a hit for our guests. Thank you very much! Everything was so easy to do (I retired last year and one day later my wife informed me that she was retiring from the kitchen!) and I so appreciate how you have your recipes laid out on the site that I ended up purchasing your book for my Ipad.
    Thanks again!

  10. Great introduction section! I immediately fell in love with all four of you. The wedding cake sealed the deal, however. Look forward to cooking with you!

  18. Hi Chungah!

I just found your website & can’t wait to try some of your delicious recipes.  I love to cook & entertain, in fact I started my own catering business 45 years ago & then opened restaurants & wedding venues along the way all in California.

I love to see creative people doing what they love.  I am now a travel agent specializing in Sandals vacations & honeymoons.  My husband Stephen live in Florida with our Baxter dog & Bucky cat.  You & your man Ben & your two corgis are adorable!

Keep up the good work!  Happy Cooking!
