ABOUT CHUNGAH
I am the founder, creator, food photographer and recipe developer of Damn Delicious®, a website established in 2011. What started as a grad school hobby using a simple Tumblr account has transformed into my full-time job and business, connecting with millions of readers all over the world with recipes that are regularly featured in major media such as People, TODAY, and Bon Appetit, among many others.
Moving away from sunny Los Angeles, I now reside in the Midwest with my family and corgi crew, cheering on the Los Angeles Dodgers.
Why use Damn Delicious® recipes

- Focusing on quick and easy. Here at Damn Delicious®, we focus on quick, easy, and effortless dinners for the everyday home cook to show you that it doesn’t take much to make a homemade meal, especially during those busy weeknights between school pick-up and soccer practice.

We’re talking minimal clean up, versatile pantry staples, one pan dinners, and budget-friendly meals with bold flavors for the entire family or weekend company.

Your recipes are fabulous. I always find inspiration. Last night I made marry me chicken for the first time for a bunch of girlfriends. It was so good. I can’t wait to do it again. I really appreciate the little video so I could just watch it and then not have to be reading the recipe as I was cooking with them enjoying glass of wine. anyhow, it’s been years I just love so many recipes and really appreciate your commentary and humour and wanted to let you know thanks
Keep up the great and tasty ideas…buying your cookbook for my wife.
She is also hosting our family’s Thanksgiving dinner…any insights ( a rather naive question) plus due to diet restrictions (current medical issues) have you generated any great baked potatoes ideas? or…some bland but tasty items for at least another month – counting the days until I can unleash my hunger for the more tasty items…I have saved your emails for several years…actually my tone is one of appreciation for your format and smile and tenacity.
I’ve just found your site, and can’t wait to try some of the recipes as they look/sound good and relatively easy. I always like to try the recipe first exactly as is, as that tells me a lot. Printed out the “Shrimp Egg Rolls” to try tomorrow. The fried rice for freezer will be next. I’ve never had fried rice with Pineapple (but I do like pineapple). I am a bit of a purist though, but am going to try it! After I’ve tried a few recipes, and like them, will be back to purchase your book. Thanks for all the great recipes and tips.
~~ One question, on the egg rolls, if one wants to make enough to freeze, do you cook/fry before freezing? I assume you do and you bake them to reheat?
Aloha Chungah,
I want to make the Raspberry Galette with my home grown raspberries, but on your site
when it says Jump to Recipe………no recipe appears!! Please fix or email me the recipe PLEASE
Aloha, Joan Marie
Hi Chungah, I’ve been using your recipes just 3 years or so, but you’re my absolute favorite. Your recipes have been consistently flavorful, easy to follow, and diverse, without any specialized equipment required. Most of your ingredients are standard items in our kitchen or can be found in any supermarket, yay!
I’m 67 and semi-retired. I cook only when I want to, but I will make your recipes even when I’m tired because the final product is always worth it. Thank you for sharing your recipes.
I enjoyed the clarity of the instructions and recipes.
Thank you for your positivity, and awesome content!
Have enjoyed your recipes for a long time its great to finally see who you are. Keep up the very tasty
recipes we love them,
I am throwing a birthday party with 50 guests at my house, including 3 from out of town who are staying at my house. I wanted the party to be at a restaurant but was overruled…
I stumbled on to your site looking for ideas for the 3 breakfasts and 2 dinners I need for the houseguests. First up, the smoked salmon bagel bar!! Yay!
Now I’m excited, not dreading, the party weekend. Thx!
Hi friend, I am making your baked ham and cheese croissants on the fourth of July for lunch. I could not find min croissants from whole foods as they are having trouble with their vendor. So, I bought the larger ones normal size from whole foods. My question is..I think i need more ham and cheese than you recipe calls for… Your thoughts please asap
Just found your site and love what I’m seeing. You share same passion for home cooking as I do.
I AM GOING TO BE COOKING YOUR DISHES.

I’m new and ready to try your recipes.
Looks delicious. I’m new and anxious to try recipes
Chungah, you are my go to every kind of recipe. I believe I stumbled upon you looking for freezer recipes. When my son had cancer, I wanted to have some meals ready for him and his family to make it easy. They really loved all your freezer breakfast foods. Every single recipe that I have tried of yours has been amazing and it makes me happy to share those meals with others. The easy Thai chicken is so good that I made it for a graduation party. The crock pot and instant pot beef stew is what I made yesterday to take to a couple people today. I always know that people will love the meals made from your recipes.
