About Damn Delicious®
Damn Delicious® was simply a hobby, but now it’s my full-time job.
Coming from a very traditional Korean household, I was destined to be one of three things: a lawyer, a dentist or a doctor. So as a grad school hobby, I created a Tumblr account in April 2011 to document some of my favorite recipes. I had one reader, making less than $0.30 per month.
But 14 years later, Damn Delicious® has grown into something that I never thought possible. I have connected with readers all over the world, conquered so many culinary feats in my kitchen, and collaborated with brands that I always dreamed to work with.
Damn Delicious has even grown into an amazing team of individuals working together to create the best possible recipes. We create recipes, step-by-step tutorials, and videos that focus on quick and easy meals for the everyday home cook to show you that it really doesn’t take much to make a homemade meal completely from scratch.
Damn Delicious® is a registered trademark of Chungah Rhee.
Chungah, I LOVE every one of your recipes that I’ve made! You’re my first go-to for pretty much everything. I feel like I’m your Swiftie (as in Taylor). What can we call you??
Great story Chungah. I can’t thank you enough for helping me step up my cooking game. The first recipe I tried was the “Skillet Sun-dried Tomato Chicken Thighs”. My family was so impressed. I’ve been hooked ever since! Every one of your recipes I have tried has been a hit. You sure do know how to season food and your instructions and tips make it so easy to prepare delicious dishes every day! I have your cook book too. People like you make the world a better place.
Still searching for ways to cook as I travel but am so glad to find a website such as yours¡! I am a fan of minimalist.com and usage my family’s gifts as chefs to “burn gurl… lol
Take Care-Brooke
I really like every recipe on your site and have made many. I have recommended it to several people.
One recipe I do not see on your site is Thom Yum soup. It is a favorite of mine. I would love to see your “take” on this wonderful dish
Greetings from Houston! I love your recipes, Chungah, and enjoyed seeing pictures of your handsome husband, wedding and adorable pups. Am glad you DIDN’T become a doctor, lawyer or dentist. The culinary world would have been at a loss without your talent. Having 2 dogs of my own, I can well understand your difficulties either leaving your 4-legged friends behind on your restaurant tours, or taking them along in all this summer heat. So glad you’re able to use take-out dishes for inspiration, and share your own at-home improvements on them with your faithful followers.
Loved hearing your story…clicked on it by mistake… It was a good mistake….
Thank you very much for allowing me to come back on my Facebook page to follow you. I totally forgot that I emailed and apologized for something that I must’ve said and got booted out of there but I’m so very thankful I just checked and I can now again follow your posts.
Congratulations on your son I love seeing your little clips and the dogs are absolutely wonderful with him. Have a great day.
I’ve been following you on Pinterest for years! I have made and shared som many of your recipes! ❤️
I kept seeing your dishes on Facebook and finally googled you. I can’t wait to try your recipes – they look amazing. We live in the Chicago suburbs, my daughter’s favorite dogs are Corgis and we all love South Park, so small world!
How exciting! Congratulations! I think I used to follow you years ago? When you were in school? Anyway, a fun blog. We were just in Korea and the food!!!!!
I’ve been following you for many years & so glad you’re blog is successful. I think your Photography is amazing–the best of anything I’ve seen. It really adds to the scrumptious-ness of all your recipes. Congratulations & keep it coming!
Found your website through a link for Thai Chicken Buddha Bowl. It was fabulous! Looking forward to eating my way through your recipes :).
Hi: I’m a recently retired bachelor living in Springfield, IL. I came across your baked spaghetti recipe with cream cheese, sour cream, etc; and liked it. It is a little different, but easy; just what I like. I looked at your online site, and many of your recipes look like things I would enjoy. I worked in Seoul at Walker Hill for a while when I was young. I was a skater in an ice show there. Great fun, and I loved everything about Korea. So, I am wishing you and your team luck; and I would be interested in any Korean spin you might be able to add to your recipes. if you felt like doing that.
Hi, my daughter turned me on to your recipes and now here I am, excited to get all of them to choose from not just the ones she makes and remembers to send.
And, your Corgis are Crazy Cute and absolutely adorable.
Have been a fan for several years and made a lot of your recipes. Keep up the good work and love those cut dogs always (and your husband). All the best.
Discovered you on facebook with a recipe that popped up – French Chicken Casserole. This was out of this world delicious. Now I am following you and going through recipes on your website.
