About Damn Delicious®
Damn Delicious® was simply a hobby, but now it’s my full-time job.
Coming from a very traditional Korean household, I was destined to be one of three things: a lawyer, a dentist or a doctor. So as a grad school hobby, I created a Tumblr account in April 2011 to document some of my favorite recipes. I had one reader, making less than $0.30 per month.
But 14 years later, Damn Delicious® has grown into something that I never thought possible. I have connected with readers all over the world, conquered so many culinary feats in my kitchen, and collaborated with brands that I always dreamed to work with.
Damn Delicious has even grown into an amazing team of individuals working together to create the best possible recipes. We create recipes, step-by-step tutorials, and videos that focus on quick and easy meals for the everyday home cook to show you that it really doesn’t take much to make a homemade meal completely from scratch.
Damn Delicious® is a registered trademark of Chungah Rhee.
The pictures of the dogs are really adorable. I love your site. I have one question. I can’t eat dairy products. They make me very ill at this point in my “delicate” condition. I am an almost 70 year old woman. I have survived Ovarian Cancer stage 3-C for the past 30 years. I have also done far better than predicted in terms of an operation which I had to have on my spine in 2011. I am a survivor of physical, psychological as well as sexual abuse. I have no memory of ever not being in pain for my life. I know that dairy products make things harder for me. Do you have any alternative ingredients you can suggest, perhaps soy?
very entertaining
I would like to see if you have an unbelievable recipe for reasonable hot chocolate? We are having 60 chior kids come over in a few days, plus 120 parents, and likely a few additional brothers and sisters. Thus the ask for reasonable as well.
We love your stuff. More good stuff!
Thanks,
Brett
I love what you do with sheet pans. I will be trying your sheet pan Macaroni & cheese. Thank you for your creations and inspiration. You inspire me to cook, while recuparating from a leg fracture vs making sandwiches.
OMG! You are adorable! I loved reading all about your journey and seeing those adorable fur babies!
Happy thanksgiving. Thanks for your cooking ideas. I tried your rosemary bread recipe, but after 22 hours, tightly covered, the dough mixture was just like it was when i put it together. Just now tried to add to skillet to double in size but don’t think it’s going to. Any thoughts what went wrong?
I would love to get your recipes!
Hi Chungah, I’m big fan of your work! A few years ago I stumbled upon your pancetta & herb stuffing and I bookmarked the webpage a dozen times, but to my dismay the webpage is no longer available https://people.com/food/chungah-rhee-pancetta-herb-stuffing-thanksgiving-recipe and I’m so bummed I didn’t save the actual recipe pdf. I’ve searched your site and found a few recipes that are close, but not the exact pancetta & herb stuffing recipe that I remember. Would you be willing to re-share that original recipe? Many thanks for considering, Chungah
Hello, printed out your Easy Thai Shrimp Soup recipe back in 2015. Absolutely love ❤️ it! It is Damn Delicious! Looking forward to trying other “easy” recipes. My guy and I are above 70 yrs and want easy prep and cook. Keep up the good work.
Hello Chungah,
I am an absolute disaster in the kitchen. However, I have made your Easy Chicken Tacos several times and they have turned out great every time. Yahooooo! I have told all my friends about your site. THANK YOU VERY MUCH!
Sandy

Hello- I have enjoyed several of your recipes, and have been following for a while! Planning to make your overnight Pumpkin French toast casserole. Would you please provide an Eggnog French toast bake for the upcoming holidays, and both eggnog and gingerbread based recipes???? Love your cooking! Thank you! L

Chungah, I LOVE every one of your recipes that I’ve made! You’re my first go-to for pretty much everything. I feel like I’m your Swiftie (as in Taylor). What can we call you??
Great story Chungah. I can’t thank you enough for helping me step up my cooking game. The first recipe I tried was the “Skillet Sun-dried Tomato Chicken Thighs”. My family was so impressed. I’ve been hooked ever since! Every one of your recipes I have tried has been a hit. You sure do know how to season food and your instructions and tips make it so easy to prepare delicious dishes every day! I have your cook book too. People like you make the world a better place.

I really like every recipe on your site and have made many. I have recommended it to several people.
One recipe I do not see on your site is Thom Yum soup. It is a favorite of mine. I would love to see your “take” on this wonderful dish
Greetings from Houston! I love your recipes, Chungah, and enjoyed seeing pictures of your handsome husband, wedding and adorable pups. Am glad you DIDN’T become a doctor, lawyer or dentist. The culinary world would have been at a loss without your talent. Having 2 dogs of my own, I can well understand your difficulties either leaving your 4-legged friends behind on your restaurant tours, or taking them along in all this summer heat. So glad you’re able to use take-out dishes for inspiration, and share your own at-home improvements on them with your faithful followers.
