About Damn Delicious®
Damn Delicious® was simply a hobby, but now it’s my full-time job.
Coming from a very traditional Korean household, I was destined to be one of three things: a lawyer, a dentist or a doctor. So as a grad school hobby, I created a Tumblr account in April 2011 to document some of my favorite recipes. I had one reader, making less than $0.30 per month.
But 14 years later, Damn Delicious® has grown into something that I never thought possible. I have connected with readers all over the world, conquered so many culinary feats in my kitchen, and collaborated with brands that I always dreamed to work with.
Damn Delicious has even grown into an amazing team of individuals working together to create the best possible recipes. We create recipes, step-by-step tutorials, and videos that focus on quick and easy meals for the everyday home cook to show you that it really doesn’t take much to make a homemade meal completely from scratch.
Damn Delicious® is a registered trademark of Chungah Rhee.
Thank you for all the work you and your team do on these recipes. I love browsing blogs for recipes when there’s something I want to make. Wherever I see yours pop up, I know it’s going to be good, well tested, and perfected.
One of my kids favorites is the clam chowder. Yum!
LOVE those pups! Crazy about your food!!
BEST OF LUCK 2022-23
Love your recipes, love your dogs! Just wanted to let you know that I like your dog food recipe, but new info has come out that dogs should not eat peas. They actually contribute to heart disease. Strange, but true. https://www.akc.org/expert-advice/news/peas-linked-dcm-canine-heart-disease/
Your recipes have made my family so happy! Our youngest has severe food allergies and many of your recipes are a perfect match for his special diet! Your bio is so sweet and we now have a new favorite place to call home for new and delicious recipes! God bless you and your dear family!
I love making your many recipes! When searching for specific recipes, I always use yours! Everything I’ve ever made using your recipes has turned out fabulous!
I stumbled upon your recipes a few years ago. I am not much of a cook. I found your site easy to follow but most importantly delicious! Loved reading your background. As a fellow Korean and living in chicago- wish you the best! PS your corgis are adorable
I”m so proud of you for having a dream and making it happen! I’m about to make your white bean and spinach soup. Can’t wait for it to be done. That and those damn delicious biscuits pictures would be fabulous together. Rock on and never stop.
Y’all are just plain cute and so anointed by Jesus Christ!
I stumbled onto Damn Delicious at least 5 years ago….
I tested out some of your sheet pan recipes on my family and passed along recipes. Since then our daughters finished college and live independently following their careers.
Our daughter from San Diego called to tell me that she made your wonderful PF Chang’s Lettuce Cups for dinner last night and had leftovers for lunch. Thanks for sharing your skills and recipes and for inspiring other young women.
You are a gem, Chungah!
Darn good food
Beautiful! From 76 yr old male. Carbondale,Illinois.
I have been trained, in French and Italian cooking as an amateur. In France at my favourite restaurant ever in the Lot area which I used so often that the greeter Noel and Jaque the chef became good friends. When he was devastated when a top chef visited the restaurant with friends and used salt on a black truffle dish he created I commiserated and he finally calmed down. He knew of my interest in cooking and on our next holiday he invited me into his kitchen to learn some of his techniques. For five years I spent most of my holidays working in his kitchen and for the last two years I would cook some of the starters and sometimes a main corse or two. An amazing experience for me.
I have read your story and am trying one of your recipes this week when long time friends are here for lunch. Am looking forward to the experience. Just one thing, this is Europe/England .and we don’t us cups as measures so will have to look up how many ml a half cup is. Thank you and I hope you continue to enjoy your life with your husband

Congratulations on your nuptials! My go to for an easy family favorite is your PF Chang chicken lettuce wraps! You miraculously turned my picky 2nd daughter (who wouldn’t eat anything green) onto lettuce!!! Now, as a teen, she eats a wide variety of veggies: brussel sprouts, mushrooms, she even orders salads! Thank you!!!! Your instant pot recipes also came in clutch when we were stuck at home during a recent winter storm down here in TX! We ate like royalty! By the way, 2nd gen Korean American and love your Asian recipes too!
Great recipe. I look forward to more of your recipes.
Thank you Chungah, for sharing your gifts with the world. Your recipes are amazing!

Hi Chungah,
I am now addicted to your Korean beef bulgogi recipe. I’m trying it with chicken thighs tonight. I’ve used 3 different cuts of beef with it so far, flank, rib eye, & flap, and like the flap the best. My son likes the flank the best. We’re splitting hairs here, because all three are incredible. Looking forward to more recipes, and am very happy you like dogs. We have two. They like the bulgogi, too.
Hello Chungah and Ben,
Firstly it was lovely to see and hear about your happiness and success together.
I think dogs are indeed an important part of family life as they love us every day unconditionally living in the moment.
I discovered your website by speaking to a Korean man and talking about Bulgogi and Kimchi.
As a chef and nutritionist I thought wow the perfect combination.
I hope to hear and read about more of your recipes and I am sure I will learn even more about cooking.
Thank you
Kind regards
David
